Kala Report post Posted March 28, 2005 I am putting a few fallen logs on my test map, but it's hard to make the null tiles go under the log and not around it. Would it be okay to sink the log below ground level to where it fits on the tiles?
Leeloo Report post Posted March 28, 2005 There's no limit in that regard. But you must have quite a few logs to have room for a null tile, if I recall the tiles are way bigger than a log. Also, the logs don't need to match the null tile perfectly, they can go over grass if that looks better.
Roja Report post Posted March 28, 2005 Do you mean the 2d ground tile "null tile"? If so: the only things big enough for a null tile to go underneath are SOME houses and Moutain-Rocks. If you mean the height map black "null tile" then: You cannot fit things on top of it perfectly, so don't worry about it. Just look at other maps as a model. Ravenod Report post Posted March 29, 2005 Cntrl+O (That's an OH, not a zero) Pressing that can really help align things more perfectly onto heightmap tiles.
