  1. So there has been a lot of talk about balancing the EL economy lately, and here is one idea I would like to present. Let's host "developer auctions" either bi-weekly or monthly. Similar to how radu implemented the first blue dragon armour set, but GC payments only. In example: Let's say this month 50 eme are up for auction. No reserve price, no buy it now. Really there are three ways this could go. First, someone could get them for dirt cheap. If this happens, more have entered the game so the price of each one already in the game has (slightly) decreased. Secondly, they could be bought at standard market price. In my opinion, this would also yield a slight decrease in market price because of the increased supply. Thirdly, the auctioned items could be bought for a huge cost. This would likely not lead to an immediate drop in prices. No matter what price is paid, gc is LEAVING the game. There will be less gc floating around between in game and rl trades. It probably will not fix the problem completely, but it could be a place to start. Types of items that could be auctioned: Binding Stones, Rostogol Stones, Haidir Passes, Nexus Removals, raw ingredients (iron/silver ore, coal, sulfer), special armours/weapons. Just my thoughts, flame away. Rabbitman
