    I think that Ketiana has a point here. If you want to steal and be a thief, then good for you. It's not against the game rules, you can probably have some fun of this in short term... but it has consequences, that in long term can't be avoided, and if you want to be a thief, then you have to be ready to pay the prices that comes with the job ;)

     

    I really have no hard feelings about you at this point... in fact Rayla is just a fun character you have to be careful of... And if you really are changing I really don't know (and probably don't care) if that is good or bad. But it will be hard for people to trust you after all.

    Yeah, sure, I wont worry... Opps... I've just realized that it's very easy to loose some one's trust, it's really hard to recover it :)

    Ok... at this point we are all sure time4u2die did two dumb things... the first one, give some one else his alt password, the second one try to sell his char and screw it with the resulting gc and his main. :)

     

    But before some one puts "time" on boiling water in the deepest spot in hell :) I have to say (and I really have to, or I won't be able to sleep well tonight) that we have played a lot together and at least from my point of view I consider him an honest and legal player (of course not counting the already mentioned two dumb things), and I give a lot of faith about this. :D I can also give faith that ashley2000 was (is?) his alt (I even may have some chat logs about it in my laptop which I don't have here besides me now).

     

    So I don't know if this will make any difference in the way you see or judge "time" and I really won't discus that or what I have said here in further posts, but he is my friend and I really had to write this words in his defense.

     

    Said so, I can go to sleep now :P, and please forgive any crazy thing of my English, I'm especially not sure of the "give faith of something" expression.

    Lol, you know, how many topics will it take in this forum before you people will actually think twice before moving off a bag when you see this individual around? :)

     

    I think the other thread has at least 5 reports, her name seems to pop up on channel 4 daily now.

    I never really work with bags, but omg, can you people please think twice before you move of a friggin bag and at least look who's around. It should be quite obvious by now that if you see this person next to you that you should not, under any circumstance, come off your bag, even stop harvesting, and just trade around what needs in/out of the bag.

     

    1.- I really don't have time to read this forum in a regular basis, and usually don't like all the spam of channel 4 and 6, so really some times don't know who is who in the game, who is bag jumping and who is not. And unfortunately, my nature makes me expect the best from the people before expect the worst (Yeah, my bad).

     

    2.- As some one said, she might look for victims, go invisible, and still stole your bag, if you think about it should be not difficult to do it (not much economical with the waste of time and potions, but doable). Any way I don't think she does it for the money, she could make four times what she got from our bag in all the time she spent there.

     

    3.- Try to work in a mine trading with a bag or bags with more than 4-5k of ingredients and people with different EMUs / loads and you will realize how hard and slow that can be...

     

    It's starting to get disappointing to see that apparently still so many people fail to keep their bags to themselves running off when they see a known and daily heavily discussed bagjumper right next to them ... Sorry for all your losses but heck, if you read all this and still go off your bag with her next to you..

     

    So finally, sorry for your disappointment, and of course I won't lose the bag next time I see her next to me.

     

    Sorry if my comments looks a little rude for you, but yours looked a little bit rude to me too. Pleace, peace Gohan, this doesn't wants to sound like a flame :rolleyes:

     

    Finally, I know scams and bag jumping is not against the rules, and I may understand why. Some times this kind of stuff is a little difficult to prove 100% for sure and probably it's a dilemma and headache for Mods. But I have to say it's that kind of people the one that ruins a nice game like EL, cause at least I, play to relax and escape a little from RL, not to be worried of the same trouble makers you find in RL.

    BlackLioness and I were making FEs in EVTR, we were switching bags and the second BlackLioness left the bag so I could took it Rayla took the bag and didn't gave it back. We politely tried to PM her and even in local chat (really don't have the logs of that attempts) but any way, she never answered.

     

    I really don't care about the bag, there where 300 FEs, some food some flowers and some sulfur... but I really hate dumb people doing that kind of stuff...

     

    elric67 was there, and may be he can support this post (I'll gossip him and ask about).

     

    Also after that (like 20-30 minutes later) O_mestre took the bag and Rayla went to storage and came back and took the bag again. I was not there, only BlackLioness. I asked to O_mestre (who is from Ozú!, a guild I respect a lot) and told him what happened, and he told me that Rayla asked him to take care of the bag as a favor... I spoke clear with O_mestre and told him all what happened, and I truly (really) believe that he was not involved, and just helped her in a naive way. So please, just in case my English messed this, O_mestre did nothing wrong, he helped Rayla without knowledge of what was happening, and later he apologized with us for that.

     

    I think that worst than bag jump some one is ask a favor to other people that has nothing to do with the bag jumping to take care of the bag and make that people indirectly a partner of such a felony :-(

     

    So if you see Rayla around, take care and better don't step away of your bags...

    This formula looks far to complicated, programmers tend to use simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and perhaps max/min functions, because all others use too many resources.

     

    100/(1+20e^(.18x))

     

    Well, I really don't know if calculate this would be a bottle neck in a software like EL server, but I doubt it uses too much resources to execute this. Also, if x is the level, then it can be easily pre-calculated and cached in a table, so you trade space for speed.

     

    So, if data fits... then there is no reason to think it's not a good approximation.

    Sounds nice... but looks like a really dangerous place ;-)

     

    It would be nicer if not only is a pk map, but a map with different spawns, something like the ogre room, the orc room, and why not a PK room...

     

    In fact, making all PK may discourage some people to go in there.
