It needs to be MODIFIED . Here is why : 5+ years ago I was accused of Illegal multi,(specifically accused of using my Wife's Character) and here is why I believe Tokie #1 was "Perma-Banned" afterwards. My Brother showed me how to play Eternal Lands. I watched Him play His Character on a Computer He sent me after I got hurt on the job. I followed His every move. Then shortly after that, my Wife made a Character, and She asked me how to play... In short, My Brother played it like this-that and the other. I played it like this-that and the other, and my Wife followed suit accordingly. Any Mod worth a grain of salt, would have noticed 3 different Characters all doing it the same way,at the same times on the same days, as my Brother had mapped it out for me, and how I passed it down to my Wife. As for the reason I got "Perma-Banned" well, if I had just stopped and thought about the whole situation then, as I did in hind-sight, I'd still have Tokie #1 and would have never flew off and copied and pasted a Mods PM with me...and I'd still be on my Original,because I would have explained my/our situation and things would have turned out differently. Back to Rule #5. If there is any way that a Mod could ask the Player what the **** they are doing, and not just sit there and give more than enough rope to hang themselves with, and THEN drop the Ban Hammer, things would go smoother and there would be less banning IF people could find a fool proof way of proving their case before judgement is passed down and Bans happen. In short on Rule #5, less quick tempered judgement and more understanding and pre-warning prior to Ban's being handed out is my way of seeing this through to a better ending for all. Maybe a 3 strikes THEN your Banned rule in effect ?

The honor Guild called Poundin'You, (#nU) is now accepting applications for dedicated players. To all concerned with Eternal Lands ; I think if we could have Arena's that are both capped and access denied to those above the cap, it is my opinion that they would be not only used more often, but by a greater number of players, even those who consider themselves Mixers and Harvesters. I will offer up the suggestion that we individuals who are concerned about the game and the number of players could "Sponsor an Arena" with an annual cash donation of say $50.00 a year,to be paid via Pay-Pal. If a Guild,( or Individual Player ) wishes to sponsor an Arena and can not get a Pay-Pal account, they could always get ahold of me, and I would set it in motion for them for a gc swap if Radu would allow it, providing I get enough notice so I can transfer funds from the Main Credit Union account to the other Bank account to do so. I make this suggestion in hopes to bring PvP to the forefront in an attempt to bring more players to the game, and thus more money to the EL Shop so as to assist the Developers in their endeavors of making Eternal Lands a more user friendly game to new players, which in turn, will keep players coming back. Because if you can learn in PvP the skills needed to PK, then PK will make a roaring come-back and the game, (ImO) will explode with even more players seeking adventure and comradeship in Guilds. Let me be the first to say that I, ( Mr. T.C. Cross / aka: Tokie in Game ) will be the first to offer a $50.00 Pay Pal Donation in the name of the Poundin' You ( #nU ) Guild to obtain the 1st Capping and Denied Access to the Desert Pines 40 and under Arena, as soon as it is implemented in game. Hussam, Please tell me how this has anything to do with fixing a safe place for Players / Characters using the 40 and under Arena in Desert Pines ?

Hussam, I am trying to be as clear about this as I can, but in case I am not being clear enough, let me state that : "I offer this suggestion not for me, but for the new Characters in game, as well as for the good of the Game as a whole, in an attempt to allow the new Characters and Players a chance at learning to PvP, and then PK, without interference by those who are only out to raise their PK score by New Character / Player killing". This is not for me. This is for other people... New People, so they can both build their own fighters and have fun doing it, before being thrown to the Lions in the Arena for the slaughter by the so called Pr0's of Eternal Lands. As for my C-1 Guild Map...all I am doing now is waiting to send Roja the new information, so we can get things changed, and for Decembers update to install Elasian Fields #nU C-2 Guild Map for the Council of Elders usage. No matter what, I will always keep Guild Maps for Training and fun, and no matter what, I will always be here, you,( they ) can't get rid of me just by invading one of my Guild Maps...quite the contrary, it only gives me the drive to train that much harder.

Okay, let us give Radu some more credit here. If He can "adjust" between someones A-102 and D-98,( just an example ) to allow them to continue the 100-120 games, then I'm SURE He's smart enough to program what ever is needed to stop new 20-20 n44b Characters from entering an Arena with Dragon Armor and Radio.Rapier. The System could, would and should recognize it,( the Big Weapon and Armor ) and not allow access. If Radu deems it needed, He could implement it so that anyone using the 40 and under must wear no more than say, Aug's. with no more than a Iron Shield and a Regular Iron Broad Sword. The 60 and under Arena, no more than Iron Plate set, S2E Sword and Steel Shield, and so on for other designated Arena's. In short, there is NOTHING that Radu can't do. It's only a matter of Him WANTING to do it, and with the financial backing of concerned Players, it could be done just that much sooner. I say let the higher level Character rule C-2 Arena's, and leave all but a select few on C-1 to the newer Players / Characters, so the Game can rebound and grow past what it's always been, a Game for the rich who use Best Buy Characters or Bully's with traded hand me down Characters. If it don't change, I am in fear that one day Radu will get sick and tired of 20 or so odd Characters being the last ones left using Eternal Lands...and reach over and un-plug the Server for ever... I love this Game, and don't want to see it go.

Lower level Characters are additional Kill Stats for these High A/D Characters-Players. I'm not gong to say I speak for everyone, but I will state that "I, along with several others, are tired of trying to train PvP to learn the skills needed to PK, just to get into the Arena and have NewHope, Joe, AMAR and others waltz in there and kill everyone with one or two swipes of the Scythe and proclaim that "the Areana's and PK are dead and that no one will use them so they are not needed", when they clearly are needed, just not for raising some best-buy's PK Score". Let me shorten that for you and make it clear: "The little guy can't learn shit if the big guys won't get out of the sand box and make some room for the newer guys, (and Gal's ) to play, so by denying Access to anyone over the Cap, it makes it a safe place to learn and have fun". The Pr0 PK'rs need to stay in KF, ( because these so called Pr0's are CLEARLY not Pr0 Enough for Nordcarn Arena ) till we learn what and how to do and how to it properly in PK. Let me shorten THAT for you too : "You wouldn't expect to find Liverpool playing against the local Elementary school, would you ? Because I wouldn't pay to see that game,( nor would it be good for the kids anyways...always being picked on like that by the full grown players on the block ) it would be a waste, just as the DP Arena's are for anyone not in Dragon Armor with an A/D of 140 or more".

To all concerned : I do not know if everyone will have this issue or not, but...F.Y.I. when I entered one of our Guild Maps I got booted from the Game and Windows 7 told me it was looking to resolve the issue,then stopped looking and told me it would contact me when a solution was found. Till then, I'm stuck and cannot play Eternal Lands...at all. tokie

I am not ranting. Just because I don't insert smiley's everywhere does not mean I'm going off on you,or anyone else. But if it would help,I will gladly start doing so,so you and everyone else will know in your heart of hearts that I am only concerned with this issue,and I am not out to cause trouble to for or with you,nor any other player in this great game. The money that it cost to have the map made,the money it cost to have the map implimented,and the anual cost to keep it in game causes me concern,as it is now money wasted,since it cannot be used after the updated version went into use. With 1.9.2 There were no issues,there were no bugs,and everything was well. Now after the new version is in use...suddenly "I am the one with the Bug or should I say,it is our Map,that has the Bug"? How come there were no bugs with 1.9.2 and now there is a bug with the inception of 1.9.3 ?? ...wait,let me insert a smiley in here so no one thinks I am getting mad...just a second please... there we go! So you all say it is the fault in the Map. So be it. It needs to be fixed or replaced. Okay,I get it. Now that there is a new version, our old maps won't work and need to be replaced as the patches are not easily placed and implimented by those of us who don't know the inner workings of a computer. *sigh* but hey, another Smiley,just beacuse kk ? As for using Essies or rings,it cannot be done. As soon as I entered the map,I was booted from the Game,and Windows opened a box and it said something close to : Windows stopped working,we will contact you IF a solution is found,shortly thereafter by the message: No solution has been found and Windows needs to close,with the only option being to Left Click the [CLOSE] tab that is being shown so it is at that point that we have no-choice but to sign on the Alt,ask for help,and wait for a Mod to retrieve our Main and place it back in game. We are not,(let me repeat,with a Smiley NOT trying to piss off the Mods by repeatedly going into the map...just for something to do) we are downloading the patches as we get them,trying new ideas that are brought to our attention,and going onto the map to see if indeed it will work this time. We are only trying new things,and getting the same results each time,and believe me when I say we would use essies or rings to get ourselves back out,as no-one wants to piss off you,(or anyone else) with our Map issues,as we love and respect all of the Mods who's job it is to assist us lowely players in our attempt at playing this fine game,and do not wish to cause anyone any un-due grief or take your time away from training your own characters. as that is not my / our intent at all.---- In Short --- What used to work without bugs,now does not work because the new version say's it has bugs. ..but hey, here's another Smiley just so you don't think I'm "ranting" again, kk ? Can we just have the 1/9/2/ version back until this,*ahem* update gets fixed ? This has went from Radu's dream of a simple and fun game that is easy to download and play...to a clusterfuk nightmare for all who have been forced to use the new version,and these *again AHEM* patches are as useful as a band-aid on a broken leg. The common player who don't know the proper way to manipulate programs,may as well abandon this game and go back to playing their Play Station 3 or X-Box 360 because this shit's gotten way out of hand now. I have loved Eternal Lands from the very first day I saw it and made my character...but lately it's pissing me off so badly I'd rather bathe the dog,take out the trash and watch CNN or FOX World news and scream at the screen over how stupid our Government has gotten,than scream at NewDope for being such a pompus ass with His Elven outside DP ArenA # 1. Woah ! Okay,let me slow everything and everyone down here for just a second,and let you all in on something. Six 1/2 years ago I was in an on the job accident. I was tore up by a loose fire hose and got my lower back crushed. I used to Mountain Climb,Canoe,Hunt,Fish Hike and Camp...and never once had I even turned on a Computer by myself. I was,(and still am) a complete Computer Idiot. I knew,(and still know) nothing about Computers that was,until my real life brother Jim,(then MusclesMalone in game) bought me one and brought it to me,assembled it,and showed me where the power button was. He then showed me how to make,send and receive e-mails. The next thing He did,was to download and show me Eternal Lands. At this point in time,I have since learned how to use Face Book, and change my search engines when needed,but I am getting lost as far as files,git,and gif and dll and all these things you all are telling me about. And yes, I will admit that I had to allow MusclesMalone remote access to place the Guild Maps in the Program files,(I think that's where He put them) and now that He's locked-up, I have no-one to do these things for me,(though I HAVE attempted to do so on my own)...but now I am lost. So...now you know that I need more help than just ideas on what to try next. This is also the reason I never go to the other server and do the PK Server thing either. I don't try new things Radu posts like the rest of you because I don't know what to type and place where,or how to even get there,let alone attempt new things like the patches that can,(somehow) be removed and such...I just wait for the new update that Radu post's,then click it after He says it's time to do so.He said it was okay,and to download the new version,we (Taini and I)did so,and now there are issues beyond our control. I know I will now catch flack by admitting these things to you,but I also want you all to know that,prior to Eternal Lands,my life was complete and I was a Haz-Mat Response Tech. for Operating Engineers Union Local #324 out of Southfield Michigan as well as a Heavy Machine Operator,(Dozers,Excavators and the likes) and I was taking care of Toxic Spills and Industrial Waste Compounds for not only the people around me,but the populations that will come after I am long gone. So I ask you to please not judge me too harshly,and to allow me the chance to learn something new,even if I do have to allow remote access again,I will learn. Just as I did before,when MusclesMalone remote Access'd my Computer before,(when I had XP) and then "I did the Guild Maps on my Wife's Computer" ! Dear Wuffzel, I re-downloaded it and then tried to insert the patch,and it still tells me : SDL_image.dll is missing and needs to be installed. I'm totally at a loss now. Honestly...if you think YOU can get it to work, I'd even consider allowing you a remote access to attempt to find and fix the issue. I am completly stumped at this point, and I am seriously considering erasing the entire Guild Map and starting over from scratch with just a full PK map on a piece of grass and nothing more... Believe it or not, I tried it,and the old version is no longer available ...so I am at a stand still until I can figure out another solution. At this point, I am willing to PAY Radu a Pay-Pal fee to take over my Computer via remote control,to see if He can get it to work...I am THAT frustrated with it. But I will not give up on Eternal Lands and return to Rohan's Blood Feud. I will stick it out,through thick and thin,to make sure that this issue gets resolved in some way,shape or form,so that I may then return the favor to other players in Eternal Lands. I have made Eternal Lands "My Game" the only Game that choose to play. I thank you for your time and wisdom, and concerns for this issue involving Guild Maps in Eternal Lands. I tried to download the patch and I got a white n blue box telling me : This program can't start because SDL_image.dll is mising from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Any clues as to what I should do next ?
