I'd like to see the custom looks, auto updates, and other things in the client to be handled per server. That way Main, PK, & OL can have different customs and file updates. At the same time, are there other things that need to be switched to be per server? Such stuff related to the continent maps?

Looks like I had already done the update in July. An audit shows that it already had the newest items in the game.

There are very good reasons to have prices like 0.0152 such as to give a slightly better price to players selling the bot large qty's of an item. Another is when multiple items are involved, you want keep as much precision for all the items as possible before any rounding, enhancing the benefit to people doing larger transactions or buying & welling items at the same time. Also keep in mind, stuff like this actually happens in real life. Buy 10.1 gallons of gas at $3.99 and see how much they charge you!

60.999999 is not valid number of gc. If the bot rounds up to 61, then people will start selling one at a time @ 0.6099999 to 1 gc each instead of the intended 0.61. If the bot rounds down, then you get this problem.

Probably a combination of several things is whet you are seeing. The first is to the computer 0.61, might be 0.6099999999 . The second is that most bot code would round the answer in it's favor so that it can't be ripped of and instead depends on your intelligence. They don't round in your favor to prevent people from getting extra gold from them or people would abuse it by selling tiny qty's but just enough to drain gc from constant rounding.

Allow me to point out several observations while you are discussing this with Aislinn. These observations are in general from what you've said here. I'm not responding based on your specific situation.. Keep in mind that what you say in other places can affect how we interpret what you say here. If someone is saying one thing at one site and something totally different here, the trust level in what's being said here can easily drop like a rock because there is conflicting information. The history of peoples past rule breaking does affect how we have to respond to them when new problems occur. Repeated problems starts falling under a different rule then the original offenses. So when a reaction is increased, they aren't being punished a second time for a previous offense, but rather the past history or being a repeat offender and troublemaker is taken into account or triggers an additional rule violation. Rule #25 is there specifically to help address problems like this, specially applicable when people start causing problems on purpose.A good example is that normally people breaking channel rules get muted or sent to the proper channel, but repeat offenders can be banned, and the effects may not be limited to just the offending character since it is the player that is the source of the problem. Also, bringing up the past history doesn't have to specifically mean Rule #25 is involved or not, but rather whether they are sincere or will continue to be a problem. Would you believe someone who has been caught and punished repeatedly for illegal multi if they said they wouldn't ever do it again? Back to my first pint, what if the same person in someplace other then EL was also spouting off that they were proud they had multied and were planning to do it again? In this hypothetical situation do you really think they should be believed?

I hope this port-forwarded server works! Try 192.168.1.66 192.168.1.66 is a private IP address that is not vidible on the internet, probably an NAT device/modem/router is between you and the internet. Nobody can ever reach directly any 192.168.*.*, 10.*.*.* anddresses, and there is one other block as ell that is reserver for local private access only.

I think how it is now helps you decide what is more important, getting the lower level item or getting more harvesting exp No reason EL has to reward you with both.

Probably one of their routers is acting up. We've seen things like this in the past in other places. They will eventually get it fixed. <AD>Things like this is one reason I created my proxy service, to allow alternative routes when connections go bad</AD>

All of you having problems seem to be using comcast. Either they are having issues or have decided to block port 2000. Contact your ISP to see if they can resolve the problem.

Sounds like a problem between you and the game server. The game server is still running normally.

Just be glad that Aislinn can only lock & ban players. Entropy & I reserve the right for doing deletions of total idiots, whether they are mods or players. While problems with mods aren't normally public they do watch each other and keep each other in check and know that they have to be able to answer for ANY use of their powers, not just possible abuses. In general, we do hold mods to a higher standard then normal players, not just in their mod power usage.

Don't under estimate Aislinn's ability to identify a new player as an old restricted one. You also never know when other players or your own actions will tip her off as well. Plus, it is illegal to try to move and hide your identity to get around a ban or restrictions, so that means you'd get banned right away without any warning and there would be NO chance of getting anything back. YOU ARE WARNED, don't try to cheat or bypass!

Once you get WR back, if you talk to her nicely it can probably get unlocked unless you've pissed her off too much since she last made the offer.

No alts means you can't even log on to another character at all, and you admitted you were on no alts in your first thread. The moment you logged into Attilla, it was your alt since WR is still considered your as well. He's not kidding, but you should at least try to post something more as to why you think what you say. After all this is under Suggestions so discussion about why's or building on it is more important here then in some other areas of the forums.

It's not a cover up when a thread gets deleted for being spam in a suggestions section of the forums when the first thing you do is try to piss everyone off and the rest of the post is practically unreadable. Just rephrase it in a more positive manner and keep in readable and it will be left in place.
