  1. To sum up:

NMT should be breakable, as proposed. Not repairable.

Suggestion: eliminate BroD to improve player environment.

I am not going to remove the brod, however, I might make the red cape perk available for taking as a perk, for maybe 7 PPs or so.

    Please do. :)

  2. I don't want NMT Cape breakable either, I don't see the point. But if that's the case that the NMT becomes breakable, I'd rather have Brod removed. (And btw, I'm the #1 Brod'er of NMT Capes.) anyways, I'd much prefer NMT to stay as they are.

#Edit - And removing the Brod, would have a positive effect on the PK, tbh with you. I often hear people saying "I wont bother going to KF if some random is just going to break my stuff".. So it seems, somewhat logical.

  3. This is based on what asgnny said in this Forum Topic.

The suggestion to remove the branch of destruction may be a reasonable offset for the NMT becoming breakable. Some players would be able to use NMT in PK, and still be at a disadvantage to those using perk cloaks (e.g. BP, Mirror), as well as the mana burn rings, bone of death, etc. A cape of the unbreakable would still be important for PK, but not necessarily be the end-all be-all PK cape. PK used to be less of a hateful quest for vengeance, and more of a fun "You killed me, I'll train up and beat you next time" environment. The incessant PK-driven flames and outright disgusting attitudes do not reflect well upon EL. Furthermore, what new player would want to enter PK when he has to be warned "watch out if you decide to enter PK - some rich player might try to destroy all of your hard-earned stuff". As has been mentioned previously on the subject of game development, other successful games should be looked at to see what works. I have not heard of any other (similar) game in which players can deliberately and permanently destroy items of another player.

Lots of people commented about it on that thread, I just thought it would be easier to make a topic, for people to view and comment.

    #Edit - Just FYI, I voted option #1

    Amen, hallelujah and marijuana.

Couldn't have put it any better myself.

#Edit - Also looking to trade my Purple Robe Set + Lavender Tunic, for Black Baggy Pants + Any other Tunic. ;)

  6. I'd be surprised if any of the active PK'ers on main left to join the PK Server. Also, Magic doesn't have that much of an effect, unless you're becoming a mage, but then you're still weak. And the people with "+70 Magic" are those who train yeti, or those who took the time to level the skill.

I like this idea, and I don't see why some of you are voting No, considering you want more players on the Server. Yes, you got your levels on PK Server, so what? People done the same work on main server, yet they will go to PK Server with 0 Overall, and no storage.

    Stop complaining.

And btw, I would consider coming back to the PK Server, with this. (You all know me and Woodeh sold our chars - I would love to see the Server be more active.)

  7. i vote no to day of no grief but yes to day of more grief and acid rain day. we don't have enough gc sinks

Sure we do, there's just not enough advantage to them to get used much. If NMT would be breakable, but Cloak of No More Warlock would not be, that would be a nice gc sink as more people would take up tailoring.

I quite like that idea. Would give value to Warlock Capes also. ^^

  8. Accusations ftw, without any serious proof :P Considering most people set us red-tag before we did, it's good to see who actually is what you say, ATH.

Anyways this thread turned stupid when AMAR posted, could you please lock it? People can still join if they like. :) And go to the Forums in the first post.

  9. Done some testing over there..

Yeti - I seem to hit them more, with most weapons (I guess this is because there a/d is lower.)

Trice - Similar as to on main tbh, if anything I hit them less, but they hit me about the same.

    - Above is what I train on Main Server, I used the same armors/swords.

Giants - I couldn't really kill one of these before, but I could just about manage it on the Test, with using accuracy/evasion potions.

Nasp - It hits me a little more on test than it does on main, but I found myself hitting it more, and for more damage than I usually would.

Red Dragon - Owns me, same as it does on main, if anything I maybe blocked it a couple times more, and hit maybe a little more. (Nothing major.

Black Dragon - Owned me as it does on main, but I hit it a little more, maybe 1/10 hits more.

PvP - Noticed a huge change here, people lower a/d, I hit more constant, and dodge a lot more, not really tested anyone around my a/d because no-one was that there.. Against the higher players I would dodge a little more, not hit. Of course I was using full PK Potions, and PK Armors/Weapons.

It seems nice to me, and I really like these changes made.

Hope this can help, I will continue doing some tests, and see if anything changes.
