Vegar Report post Posted November 3, 2004 When I typed "#test" I got this reply: "Unknown: #test lol", and sometimes they come out as #gm It's completly random. #oeeo: Unknown: #oeeo< #oeeo again: Unknown: #oeeo #oeeo again: Unknown: #oeeo i' Same with joining channels, but that have been around for some time. This especially happens when Lord V is having one of his find-me-in-a-chan-contests. Once when I typed #jc 1, I ended up in channel 1112900120 or something like that. Xilcox Report post Posted November 7, 2004 Obviously somebody assumed that the strings you get from the client/server are 0 ended - which they are not. So you get combinations of whatever was typed before. Just memset the damn buffers to 0 before receiving anything.
