Incentive to clear invasions?

Recommended Posts

We have all seen times when the last 10 or so mobs from an invasion remain in game for ages after the rest have been cleared.

There are a few who wanderthe maps - and search them out.

As a way to encourage more people to help out - increase the change for a special drop from the last 10 mobs. This may also lead to invasion meters actually being used again.

This would only apply to mod led invasions not GIWS.

If introduced, it should be limited to portal invasions, that is situations where last 10 creatures are outside. Otherwise, last 10 mobs might be all in the same inside premises, which seems to be quite unbalanced.

Another thought - since usually leftovers are very high level monsters, that favors high level fighters who benefit from invasions the most anyway. Not saying whether this is justified or not, just something to consider.

As to invasion meters, I see them being used in every invasion, at least by Nano members :-)

The drops the monsters have (including Invasion Tokens) and the fact that there will be no additional invasions (not even GIWS) had better be enough incentive to clear out the last few or why bother with invasions at all?
