Use with button on the raw meat then use with button on an open pit. One of these is at the beam(#beam me), although it has to be lit. If you have any future questions a good place to ask is channel 1. To join it #jc 1. To speak on it @message. To leave it #lc 1.

In-game, under the "?" icon you find a lot of useful things, including a Newbie FAQ with answers to the questions like: "how in the world do u cook meat?"
