  2. It might have happened when I was changing between landscape and portrait mode and messing around with the font and scaling at the same time. If I can reproduce I'll report back. So simple I completely missed it, I was trying some cursor types that were making me stuck (not doing what I wanted), like Look at and Use Selecting the walk cursor and then simple taping the item in storage selects it, and then taping the destination slot moves the item as expected. Thank you.

  4. I'm still testing regularly and I just noticed something The User Menu is behind the other chat channel UI elements (again this is not blocking, and might be related to my fussing around the font sizes and scaling)
  5. Ok, that worked. Thank you Nogrod. But I had to clear the data of the application via the android application preferences, as I could not find the files with the default file manager. Does this mean that people will have to clear/remove the data folder or this will happen when upgrading?
  6. I had the same "issue" with the UI scaling when I installed the latest version (UI too big). My phone is a Galaxy s10+ with resolution FDH+ 2280x1080. The scaling factor is set to 2.90 by default. Is there something I can do to add more useful information for you?
  7. I gave the new android client another try and the only "weird" thing I noticed is that the UI was really big for my screen when starting, almost unusable. I had to go into the settings and change the User interface scaling factor. Finding the option to reduce the size of the UI was not easy... Maybe a future version could have a first time only config window appear to help the user define/confirm the scaling factor, and any other important settings. (I'll add this to the suggestion forum later). Regarding chat, I did miss the local chat separate from the rest. I was trading with bots and it was a bit weird to have scroll back to see the local chat messages history. I did not find the option to bring back the separate local chat, I assume it was removed to simplify the options and have less stuff there. (I'll add this to the suggestion forum later). The new Keyboard button is quite nice, and really useful. I did notice that the button is not scaling with the rest of the UI, but that could be a feature. The button not scaling with the rest of the UI is not causing any usability issues for me. I did some harvesting, traveling, bot trading, NPC dialogs, and everything worked. It does get a bit of time to get used to the android client controls, but if you spend a bit of time on it, the overall experience is quite nice. Great work! P.S.: I'll continue to use the client in the coming days and report any issues here.

  9. Quickbar (Last row)

    I was thinking about how to implement this and it should be "easy enough" to just start filling the quickbar from the end to the beginning of the inventory. That would also cover the dynamic number of slots and it should be both easy to implement and to understand for the users. It would just be a reverse fill of the quickbar. Using the "Keep First Row" option never worked very well for me. When harvesting things gets added to that first row if it contains free slots (not completely filled in). And then I have again to manually move items to storage...

Hello, Note: Not a suggestion yet, or at least not until I confirm cannot be done with some existing option I was wondering if there is already a way to configure the quickbar to show the items from the last row of the inventory. I use the "Keep Last Row" option when Storing All items so that I always have those items safely in inventory. I keep my usual "handy stuff" in that last row and having the items showing in the quickbar would save me a lot of inventory open/close actions. Cheers, ladrilho

    Yes, my comment does not make much sense. Initially I thought it would be a good idea to have the option of a different font for the console and for the in game chat. But bot text would not be aligned in the in game chat text anyway, so that is not useful. Another comment, let's hope this time it's more on point In my Debian system the default TTF Directory /usr/share/fonts/TTF does not exist so I only get the fonts included in the client fonts/ directory in the font selection list. Maybe we could add a visual indication that the folder does not exists, with a red * character/red text/red underline, and a tooltip to explain the issue. That way the user would understand that he can get additional fonts from his system.

    I just tested the Linux general installer and everything works OK here. I agree with the comment regarding the mono spaced font for the console, maybe it would be worth it to separate the console font from the other ones to have the option to set mono spaced font only for the console?

Hello, while going through the client code I saw the protocol messages GET_3D_OBJ_LIST & GET_3D_OBJ_LIST and I was wondering if these are being used at the moment by the current version of the server. Would anyone know if there are situations where the server is sending these protocol messages today? I assume if they are used, it would be to place objects on the map for specific quests, or in game events. There might be some possible new usages for these messages and I my mind went to agriculture right away. It could probably be basic stuff like the fields we already see in the game (vegetables, corn, flowers, etc...). It could add an interesting skill to the game without "much" work needed on both the server and the client. P.S.. Is there any other place where these "more technical" question should be discussed?   22. Small improvement/suggestion: Would it be possible to display the selected font when you open the options? When we open the chat tab we have to scroll in each one of the different selections to find out which font is selected there.

    You can do a git pull again, and then make clean. And if that still does not work, delete the .deps folder.

    I found a small issue. With TTF enabled, in the Manufacture window, if you decrease the window size the plus (+) button for the recipes is not being displayed. The remaining of the window looks OK.
