Buuhan1 Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Insert+Delete doesn't do anything,it just thinks your hitting delete so it lowers your object, and Home+End rotates the map,im wanting to know how i raise a object up --------------- - object ___________ - floor
Lyanna Report post Posted November 13, 2004 Did you read the map editor manual? It's in your EL folder. Two versions: the .txt one, and the .html one. It should have instructions on how to vary the heightmaps. -Lyn-

Lyanna Report post Posted November 16, 2004 Err... are you making a map for the game, or just for yourself? Because if it's for the game, you need to make a test map first. See here. If it's just for yourself, then that's fine. -Lyn-

Buuhan1 Report post Posted November 16, 2004 im not that great with mapeditor yet as i just started to use it,and i think i should stop while im ahead, but i need a second opinion, heres the link to my pathedic test map >< http://aa.ani-underworld.com/el/island.elm
MoonShadow Report post Posted November 16, 2004 Please read the manual. The heightmap has been done wrong (houses walkable) and the 2ds are flickering/overlapping. Also your map lacks details - it is kinda .. umm empty and you didn't even place wateredges at some parts next to the water. Well overall - it needs alot of work/bugfixes/details(!) to be approved. Buuhan1 Report post Posted November 17, 2004 I added abunch of stuff sense that but the thing is with some objects,if i have them at 0.00 it looks like the ground is eating them,so i raise them to 0.01 and then it looks like its floating in air so honestly,i have no idea what the hell im doing
Buuhan1 Report post Posted November 18, 2004 i only know how to raise objects by 10 so for example i only know gow to make a 0.00 object be -0.10 and 0.10 and so on so how to i raise things by 1 like 0.00 to 0.
Ravenod Report post Posted November 18, 2004 A quick answer to your question is to Hold Shift while you press Ins or Del. A longer answer, and answers to more questions you might have is to go to here.
