Animals in the Caves (cavern)

I think it would make sense if animals wandered into the caves once in a while. It would really break up the tedium if a rabbit hopped by while you are harvesting silver or iron.

 

And, for any Pink Floyd fans, you could pipe in the song "Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict". That would be cool. ;-)

I'm thinking cave animals would be cool, like bats (that cant fly) etc.

Instead of them wandering into caves, Entropy could make some of the animals spawn randomly inside by the cave entrance, but they wouldn't stay long. He could place some hibernating bears and some crocodiles that spawn by some underground lakes etc. It would also be awesome if we had some cave gremlins, evil dwarves, big spiders, or even some large lizards.

Hmm crocodiles... They should be offensive, but unable to go too far away from the water.

Wasn't there a rabbit near/in a cave in Monty Python's Holy Grail? Hehe. I do see that its not quite as realistic though, how about a bear or two in them?

Good idea kritoke! We need a white rabbit with blood all over it to guard the entrance of one of the caves. It should be 78 Combat 90 Attack 150 Defense and the only thing that can kill it would be The Holy Hand Grenade. Which would be obtained from a quest.
