  1. The character can stand in the wall. I'll a link to a picture, but I think you get the idea :-) http://www.freewebs.com/el_ox/bad_wall.bmp
  2. Order of the OX has been created. Simple information can be found at : http://www.freewebs.com/el_ox/ This page will be enhanced as we grow. PM snorebum for details. Looking for brave, steadfast, dwarfs.
  3. Would be nice to see a mechanism for guild owned assets, and a mechanism for managing storage for guild assests. Also, would be good to mark guild assets so that if somebody had the asset and left the guild, they could not take the asset with them. They should not be able to trade it, unless a high ranking guild member remokes its status as a guild asset. The only thing I have not figured out is what to do with assets that a player might have if they die? Maybe work it so that a player never losers a guild asset, and can only carry 1 guild asset at a time so that ppl don't abuse the feature of never losing it. (By abuse, I mean they could just take nothing but guild assets into places they would have a chance of dieing.)
  4. potion of vitality

Neither can I. I just made a bunch, and now I have to carry them around becuase storage guys (VoTD and PL) don't recognize that I have them to deposit.
  5. When you are scanning a screen full of messages, it would be nice if any occurance of your name (the player) was highlighted in a special color so that it would be easy to spot. So, if somebody spoke in a channel, local, in a PM, or in a GM, I would see: Hey, snorebum was just killed by a rabbit ...and the snorebum part would be in its own color. From a coding perspective, I would guess this would be very easy.
  6. #inv command

How about a command, #inv, that lists out the contents of our inventory in storage. Just simple display like #exp returns. We could view it from anywhere...
  7. Bug in Harvys dialogue - Char starts moving

Sounds good in theory, but in practice, sometimes the single click selects tha amount "and" walks away.
  8. Bug in Harvys dialogue - Char starts moving

That happens to me sometimes too, with Harvey and with Grim. I just try to be really careful that I hit the number dead center, but often I end up taking a short talk after clicking on a number (or near it).
  9. If you spot a Puma, PM me (/snorebum or /snor is probably enough) with the location (coordinatess & general area e.g. Lakeside Docks). If you follow the Puma, and continue to update me with its location (direction its headed, etc), and your information is good enough for me to find it (and kill it), then I will reward you with 2K. Wait for some confirmation from me before you spend time following it for any reward. (I could be online but AFK...) I've already done this with a couple of players, and it works well. They spotted a Puma in Treetown, PM'd me, I killed it, and payed them. In the event that more than 1 person tracks the same Puma, I will reward the person that does the best job of PMing me location information up until I kill it. If it is close, I'll probably split the reward between them in some way. It does not count if I'm standing right there, and see the Puma at the same time that you do, and you decide to PM me for a reward :-) If you kill it (or have furs in storage) I'm also in the market for Puma furs.
  10. I'd like to see this game have a kind of magic orb you could place somewhere, and then you could go elsewhere, and you could use a hotkey to view through orb, and even rotate the view. I played, years ago, Descent II and it had an item like this, it called them beacons. The idea is that you could place a few of these around, and you can see more of what is going on. I'm hunting Pumas right now, and would love to be able to place a couple of orbs in a couple of places, and cycle through views through them. Even beyond hunting pumas, they might be cool on PK maps, or if you are on a monster map and want to know if something is comming from a certain area. Maybe the orb could cost 2 plats, and expire after 15 minutes, and you could have a max of 4 deployed at one time (or max of 2). Maybe you should only be able to view through them as long as you are on the same map as them. Other players can see the orb (a floating green crystal ball), as a kind of warning that somebody might be watching an area. They might not sound that cool at first, but once you've tried them, you will find many uses for them (that is how it was in Descent II anyway). I have no idea how this might fit into the current game code, but maybe you could reuse your player object in some way...
  11. I got my white furs, offer is over. Thanks.

This order has been filled. Offer is now over. Thanks to all that sold to me...
  12. Offer ends when I get 25 total. PM me in game, or leave your info hear and I will look for you in game.
  13. Cool. Until then, what about letting us have access to the Newb channel again? Seems unfair that some players have access and some don't. I recall one evening, everybody in the game had their access removed... but many people that have joined since then can still access it, even though they are not newbs anymore. Why?
  14. I don't really want to have to put it back into a vial, I think drinking from the skin is fine, but somebody else was saying that would be to much work for the coders. Puting it back into vials is less work for the coders, and still gives us what we want, a way to carry around more potions. Though, to me, the easiest solution would just be to make all of the potions stackable... it makes little sense that some are and some are not (apart from Ent and company trying to limit how much we have access to at one time to balance the game).
  15. Food

That is my point, many of us don't have access to the Newb channel, so we can't recruit them from the channel. As for leaving to go to Isla Prima to get them, it would be faster in that case to just do the task we wanted them for, ourselves. If I want to hire a newb to haul me a load of coal to the silver area, and I have to go to IP to find a newbie for that job... it would be faster for me to just go to Harvey and buy it, and haul it back myself, and the Newbies might not even be at IP within shouting distance. Most of the jobs I have to offer, involve me not wanting to interupt what I'm doing with a trip... going to IP to find a newbie then becomes a trip...
