SolarStar Report post Posted May 24, 2013 One of the most useful things in EL are the maps. The maps that you open with TAB to walk. Some of us think that these maps could use an update. This is why I have decided to assemble a team for the job. This is a long term project and it will not be done in a week. You need some power of endurance. You will also need: some free time (at least 3 hours a week) a system that is fast enough to handle 2k or 4k resolution imagines windows 7 or linux is recommanded a dropbox account is recommanded for easy file sharing you speak fluent english (voice communication might be nesseccary) good knowledge in GIMP (not photoshop) some knowledge in image processing you need to know what about: channels, layers, masks, color scheme, file compression, artifacts you should be organized and be able to work in a team you should have played EL for at least 2 months you are at least 17 years old and life in europe (better for time shift) The basic images of the maps already exist. At the end of the project the maps will be made publicly availible for download. If you think you are the right man/woman for the job, please leave a message here. I will try to contact you ingame.
