Spell dat. How do I use it?

I used the link on the CEL website to create a spell.dat file. I downloaded it to me EL folder, but it doesn't show up when I start the game? Help please.

You have to buy sigils first from magic shops to cast spells

it should show, but your spell file should be named as: spells_<your_ingame_name>.dat. i know that learner's configuration script will do that for you. but it should be placed in the "my documents\eternal lands\main\" folder, not in the EL folder .

 

word of caution: if you attempt to cast a spell with which you do not have the sigils nor the level to do so will cause you to be disconnected from the server.
