Ok hey everyone i finaly got el to work but im runnin low fps and ive changed all my in game settings and still 1 fps

if you wouldnt mind givein me some more help id appreciate it.

Tell us a bit more about your computer perhaps? That would make life easier on people trying to help (I dropped my crystal ball yesterday and it's not working well since :^) ).

 

Things like operating system, graphics card (make and type), graphics driver version, perhaps CPU type and speed and the information from EL start-up would help a lot.

 

Also, does selecting 'poor man' in the EL options help any?

You also should make sure no other programs are running, such as graphics intensive webpages, movies, other games etc.

EL uses low bandwidth but on a low end computer it can pretty much use up all your graphics resources. Laptops with integrated graphics cards (Intel) can keep low FPS, especially in some maps or areas with lots of players/creatures.

The operating system is ubuntu, the graphics card nvidia g force4, my processor id amd athlon xp, and no the poor man option didnt change anything

read it carefully, follow it's instructions precisely, and stuff will work.

 

EDIT:

OH, AND NOTE: If you have a GeForce4 series card, you need the nvidia-96 driver.
