chr0nik Report post Posted May 8, 2010 I'm not sure about updating your drivers, but have you tried the basics to improve performance yet? Try disabling shadows and reflections (Ctrl+O > Details tab) and reducing Maximum Viewing Distance (Ctrl+O > Adv Video tab.)
Istiach Report post Posted May 8, 2010 That is the point. I dont want to get more fps by disabling ingame gfx options. Im now running on poor man with ~15 fps.
chr0nik Report post Posted May 8, 2010 That is the point. I dont want to get more fps by disabling ingame gfx options. Im now running on poor man with ~15 fps. Poor man is just a "group toggle" that disables a number of video options so Shadows & Reflections are already off. I'd still try reducing viewing distance. Also, a quick google for "ubuntu gma 4500m" led me to this Intel Graphics Performance Guide on the ubuntu forums.

Indeed. Try 2 fps And artefacts all over the place. Will try meself with Nvidia card. I am sick of Intel chips. Simply dont work with Linux yet.
