Lyanna Report post Posted May 11, 2004 I was just thinking about how to siphon off the money for high-leveled players...what if you created a magic marketplace, containing one of every kind of store, PLUS a specialty store where they can sell things that they normally could not. eg. serp stone, etc. The thing is, this marketplace can only be accessible by either the Teleport to Portals room spell, or by teleport rings only sold by the PL magic store (ie. cannot be crafted). And you could charge extra high prices for the rings. That way, the number of items in the game is reduced, money level also drops sharply...but the only problem is that players might not want to use it. What do you guys think? -Lyn-

GloryFades Report post Posted May 15, 2004 exactly bad idea.....being able to BUY rare items is a bad idea
Lyanna Report post Posted May 15, 2004 No, no, not buy...sell. That particular specialty store won't sell anything, but it'll buy rare items off players. But nevertheless, I think you're right. It's a bad idea. Forget it. -Lyn-
GloryFades Report post Posted May 15, 2004 but why SELL rare items to the store? it makes no sense...you can just sell them to players without all the hassleetc. and once the store price was set inflation would send the price of players buying to higher than that. so therefore it's not happening, and give it up
