Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex released today

i386 is for standard PCs and intel based macs

AMD64 is for 64 bit PCs - not necessarily AMD - I run it on my Q6600 intel quad core machine

 

The servers are a little busy right now, it may take a few attempts to reach the page. It will settle down over the next week or so.

 

For anyone in the UK that wants a ubuntu 8.10 DVD I will happily post one to them for either gc or paypal (to cover the costs of the DVD and postage) either £1.40 GBP or 25k gc ingame gets you the latest and greatest linux distribution direct to your door by first class mail. Heck I'll even throw in a LabRat signature!

Has it improved over Hardy Heron to want to rush and install it? I HATE KDE4. Just curious. It hasn't showed up via adept manager yet.
