Linux client from eternal-lands.com, no workie...

I was playing fine yesterday with 1.5.0 beta compiled from Gentoo portage. Tried to log on today and got the following error:

 

"This version is no longer supported, please update!"

 

Thinking that portage must just be behind, I unmerged eternal-lands and eternal-lands-data, backed up my config directory and nuked it. Downloaded the Linux binary release from the website, which is also 1.5.0 beta. Execute the binary and get the same

 

Am I missing something? Is there a newer linux package? Do I have to attempt to get it to compile from CVS?

 

The softpedia mirror link is still doling out the 1.5.0-beta package, The copy at http://el.beplacid.net/downloads/el_160_linux.zip seems fine.
