sparhawk Report post Posted January 16, 2007 This is a movie I recently saw, from Romania and I was curious about it's "comedic" nature. Is there an inside thing about this movie (Ie: something in romania's lifestyle?) It is supposed to be a comedy, but if it was I did not find it funny at all . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Death_of_Mr_Lazarescu It's "funny" side (poster for Romania)
Entropy Report post Posted January 16, 2007 No, it isn't supposed to be a comedy (duh). You have to understand that this is how 99% of the romanian movies are. Their directors and producers like to show pain and misery for the sake of showing pain and misery; they think it is cool. Next time, don't waste your time watching Romanian movies (I try to watch them all, but this is because some sort of intelectual masochist tendency that I have).
