cvs client crashes (segfault)

Recommended Posts

here is the strace that i get when running game : https://vaala.mine.nu/~squale/el/strace

I aint fully sure my compilation was al fine but i didnt get any blocking error

thanks for any help :D

I dont think this will help much but i am running Ubuntu Dapper with a nvidia video card (using proprietary driver)

This is working good with the tarball game

Since i had problem with some xml file i replaced those with the new one (was help.xml iirc) but still doesnt help. This binary wont run either from the folder i compiled it in either from /usr/local/games/el where i installed the el official tarball

okay, now please give us the info asked for on problems... error log, exact details, any warnings when compiling, etc...

if you want to get more technical information, use gdb. there's a pinned topic on using that.

no more strace. it has a purpose, this isn't it (strace can be handy, but you usually only need the last few lines... unless you know how to use it or someone who does gives directions, it's not usually helpful)

also: a huge file on a self-signing HTTPs (not even a need for https) is generally not a good thing to post
