Entropy Report post Posted February 12, 2006 Foehammer, if you are getting that message it means that there is a firewall or antivirus or something blocking EL from connecting to the server. Yamakuzure Report post Posted February 14, 2006 (edited) here a small howto for upgrading (the way i did it): as there is no ebuild for new version yet, i decided to build from cvs. following all as user! Just a tip: If using Features like distcc and/or ccache, it may be required to su to be able to compile! chown and chmod everything back after compile! edit: If you have updated from downloaded archive prior to compiling it from cvs, you only need to copy the newly built executable to your already working el directory.
