cont2map16 / nomap error

Recommended Posts

I have no idea what happend. But when I was leaving Egratia to Idaloran I got a map error and was disconnected. Tried again. Got disconnected.

Tried a fresh install thinking something got corrupted. Got disconnected again. So I have no idea why I can't get on :S

Unable to switch to map ./maps/cont2map16.elm

Using an empty map instead.

Fatal error: Couldn't load map ./maps/nomap.elm.

Fix your maps.

Disconnected from server!

Except I don't know how to change the maps in the first place, nonetheless fix them. And I don't see either Cont2map16 or nomap in the fresh install (or the previous install for that matter).

(there was a similar post to this in help me already ;P)

Open map editor, create a new map file (256x256) and save it as nomap into your maps directory. Then try logging on then beaming.

This bug at least on the client side, is because nomap.elm wasnt added to the last release.

Its been noted already, and should be in the next client release.

I open map editor to:

This application has failed to start because libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Lord_Vermor, can you just email me the blank map?

grab the latest map maker from the pinned topic in the map making section and that problem will go away
