Packet Overrun ... Data Lost!

Recommended Posts

Yesterday, when I finally got my EL to work, I was happy. Now I get this :

problem9nt.jpg

I asked DNS for help and it didn't work.

I tried : Turning off Global Filters : no result

Turning off Global Ignores : no result

Turning off Save Global Ignores : no result

Applying Entropy Windows Patch : NO result

I seem stuck.

EDIT : OMFG. IS all I have to say.

Here is my error log and my fears have come true. I seem to suffer the same thing as many others :

Turn of the Global Text Filters, or try out Entopy's test client. Known bug listed in other posts.

Extra stuff that could be important :

problem29xa.jpg

EL config

I explain the 192.168.0.1 adress for server as it is my proxy server adress which actually made the game connect from my network computer yesterday night.

And my EL.ini file, taken in screenshots, separated in 5 parts (they follow each other, as if you scrolled down.)

If you have reading trouble, tell me.

Ini 1

Ini 2

Ini 3

Ini 4

Ini 5

I hope this was useful, if you need more stuff, tell me.

EDIT : With FIrefox, click once on the image to zoom in to readable size.

Off Topic : The Global Filters.txt file is quite funny :P

After playing the game for an hour or an hour and a half I get the Packet Overrun message as well.

After that I have to turn my computer off, because I can't close Windows anymore.

Maybe this can be of help: my errorlog entry.

Well, Entropy said in your link:

"Unzip in the el folder (if you don't know how, don't try it, wait for the update)"
