Derin Report post Posted June 4, 2005 The eternal lands are indeed a fantasy setting, that has little to do with the real world (earth). When it comes to guns there are a few aspects to consider, part for the fantasy/non-fantasy aspect. 1. the Arms race, bigger guns > more damage > better armor > bigger guns> ...etc 2. Firearms compared to bows an spears, would make bows and spears less attractive. So given these factors PLUS the fantasy aspect, i would say that firearms have no place in EL. If you want fire arms, there are plenty ot other games to consider. And, if you want firearms and magic, there are also other games out there. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
