It would be cool if you could add birds to el, like have them fly around casting shadows on the ground, have them land on trees, lamps, rocks, etc.. and have them in fields and if you walk by them they fly away, it would be a nice peaceful touch to el, but i know its not possible right now tho.

Moving shadows. Yeah. Moving directional sound sorces with the shadows. Okay. Having them move randomly in addition to having to deal with player movement. Ouch.

It would also involve having a "Turn birds off" button. More confused newbs anyone?

do if you did not try to make much out of it.

How bout each bird has a set movement. It would fly around and stop on a tree or stump or the ground or whatever and just wait there for a bit. It would automatically get up and start flying to its next destination after a little while. If a player walks towards it, it is forced to cancel the wait and proceed to the next destination right away.
