  1. Rosto Killer

This would just kill off all incentive for people to pk and probably cause a TON of players to quit, an overall bad idea
  2. Just got a series of ideas for some medallions and some other items while at school (first day, do nothing basically) I'm no crafter, so I can't give any ingredients suggestions The Crafting ideas: Medallion of Protection - +5 armor Mage's Band - Heal, Remote Heal, Heal Summoned spells give +10 more health per cast Berserker Medallion - +2 toughness, +2 defense, 5% chance of temporarily increasing toughness by 5 (similar to a MoL) Ressurection Amulet - Summons lose half as much hp as normal Conjurer's Medallion - minimum mana required to summon equals the final cost (IE: conjurer's cape+summoning arena making a summon's mana cost drop, so the cost in there is the minimum instead of the normal requirement) The Engineering Ideas: Health Station (or something similar to that) - A trap that increases healing in a 3X3 area by +3 Grindstone - Temporarily increases weapon damage (decreases like a potion would) Torch (well, my take on it) - +10 perception while equipped, equipped as a shield *could use 1 log, 3 FE* The Weapon Ideas: Obsidion Claymore - A heavy 2 handed blade, 45-60 damage, -5 accuracy, -3 evasion, +7 critical to hit, +10 critical to damage Matted Dagger - small black blade, 7-12 damage, +20 accuracy, +10 evasion The Magic Ideas: Mana Blast - drains half of your mana and delivers it as damage, experience is the amount of mana used*4, required magic level 35 Food to Ethereal - transfers 30 food to 15 mana, req level 25 Serenity - Cast on a monster, enemy will not attack you on sight for a minute unless MM ignoring, req level 30, takes 30 mana to cast, 150 base exp ok so it was more than just medallions, I had nothing better to do in school rofl
  3. agrred on the medallion of protection, I forgot that moon medallions are +4 to armor not +2, so maybe like +8 armor?
  4. Using mines in a fun way

uhm well I say on PK the bags should look normal but outside of pk the bags should have some kind of visible way to tell that they're rigged, IE: bags full of stuff you're working on bars with could be rigged to prevent others from taking from it, at the expense of the mine
  5. Which was your biggest project ever?

lvl 20+ in all skills jihad I'm currently on just left with 16 manu, 18 craft, 15 engineering, 17 potions. one more I left out, summoned 100 wolves in one sitting (with storage runs). go me.
  6. Summoner's Guidebook

One thing I'd like to add, if you can afford to buy or make the essence, small gargs are awesome for exp and you can carry a ton of them worth in ingred with you to the summoning arena
  7. Can't connect to server

no dice here, noticed all my friend logging out at the same time and assumed it was a server burp, but I still can't get on ...I'm praying I don't come back on to an EVTR invasion...I'm carrying 7kgc, 5 picks, a MoL, ti helm, and exc cape O_O; edit: crazy lag here right now, this reply has been posting itself for 15 min now X_X
  8. I don't know exactly what creature this could be, but the idea behind this is a lvl 30 or so creature that has low health, low attack, decent defense, but can deal 2 mana burns before running out of mana to do so. These would NOT be in a summoning stone so players can't spam these without having the skill to do so, and they would be more effective than bears are for burning. ingreds would bring engineering into play also, I'm thinking 1 LE, 3 DE, 3 Blackpowder let me know what you guys think about this and any ideas of what they could be (no they aren't lemmings! XD)
  9. Kamakazi Summon!

lvl 30 I'm referring to summoning lvl
  10. Guild CORE

CORE was fun while it lasted If you happen to read this scratch, the vast majority of the member of CORE joined up Ateh's guild TinT, so yeah basically CORE is still around just with a different tag XD
  11. If you've ever asked me about selling the summoning stones I make you'd know how I go on tyraids about how summoning is the only skill one can't make a profit off of. -I mean hell, you can buy fluffy summoning stones for less than it costs to get the ingredients! -Gypsum is just....aaaAAAAAAGGHHH to get. -it takes 250+ emu to create one, so you have to be a decent summoning level AND have a decent carry capacity -The ingredients in general are not ones you can easily stockpile (exception being thread, SRs, and bear furs) I've noticed that every other skill one can make a profit off of in the game... A/D: money drops, they add up. Alch: essences are always in high demand, as well as bars Harv: Must I say? Magic: Well, not so much here but bones to gold at higher levels could work, and magic keeps you ALIVE Craft: even thread adds up, and tele rings are also a high demand item. Eng: still in the works, but people are already making some money via ashes, saltpetre, ect. Manu: Just about everything you can make leads to a profit So here's a few things I think may help to make it so summoning could actually be a skill one could make a profit off of while remaining a fair balanced skill -NPC pricing could use a lil boost, which is the root issue with why the stones sell so cheap! -Make gypsum easier to reach again, such as the Palon Vertas underground (with respect to crafters of course) -Rare items could be made somehow with the stones, based on your charm, such as double summon stones, or some kind of souped up version of what you were making -Less gypsum to make each Really just 1 or 2 of these would be able to actually make summoning a profitable skill So yeah, there's my little rantish deal, alot of players may think otherwise of this, but you try making summoning stones!
  12. Ninja Repellent

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/390157 With my new product, you will never have to worry about random ninja attacks again! lil something I did today
  13. Who is your arch enemy?

Cave walls. They have this fatal attraction to me...
  14. blast from the past!

ay...I really wish my pc's hd didn't die a few years back, I had screenies of EL LONG before C2 was a thought, no crowns, I think iron was the best armor around, ect ect...
  15. My little idea to give summoning a whole new twist, AND an incentive to use it in pk. Cast like a spell, a succesful cast will cause the target (non-player) to act similar to a summon for 2 minutes, following the caster and attacking enemies on sight (attack like a summon however, meaning that your chimeran following you isn't going to attack non MM players, except on PK). While "under the influence", they'll be tagged like summons do, which all changes back to normal after the effect of the spell. This spell can be cast after lvl 10 summoning, but the level of the spell correlates with the level of the creature you want to cast it on. IE: A level 20 summoning may be able to Dominate things at req lvl 20 and below, meaning alot of snakes and the likes. A level 40 summoner could Dominate fluffy rabbits, mountain chimerans, pumas, polar bears, ect. The mana cost for the spell could be the normal cost to summon the creature manually. I'd say Animal Nexus 5 for this, just like stones are. (considering I started stones at lvl 19 summoning, it's not too out there to say that) Sigils I'm thinking Temporary, Knowledge, Life
  16. Hero Points

It'd be nice to see Hero points gained...say....every 5 OAs or every 5 of a certain skill? The ability to have some kind of "Epic Moment" use for them would be really interesting, like if for a summoner, you can pull off a 100% success summon at 2X your summoning lvl at the cost of the point What are you thinking for the value of the points? We talking like PP value, or something like you can get effect X at 50 pts of this type, or this effect with 100 pts of type Y?
  17. Esperanto medallion

Chosen: The big thing with NPCs are those few you can harvest and sell to for a good profit, such as PL's Lupine Bush and Flower Shop, and the Titanium in Willowvine. I'd say if you were to implement this, 10k would make a reasonable price, and each time you do an antisocial limited action with an NPC, you have that 5% chance to break the medallion. Doesn't sound like much, but a 1/20 chance is risky, and I know I get healed alot by my MoL with those same odds!
  18. I kinda noticed with players that some people go around having crazy luck with certain things, and horrible luck on others. so yeah guess what this thread is for? :3 for me, I've had crazy alching luck in the past, first WE attempt gave me an EWE, although no enriched esses in the last couple months Summoning my luck seems to be pretty good, considering I make stuff that's like 10-15 lvles above mine with very little trouble XD Harvesting, I never get any stones, I got 2 in one day but that was just a fluke at the ti mines I believe, but aside from those there was a 1 year gap betwen getting anything Monster drops I'm VERY lucky, I get several meds and books off of gargoyles, and skeletons drop me countless broadswords, S2E (from unarmed), and leather stuff. so...where does YOUR luck lie?
  19. I think this'll help both newbies and people who are somehow as coloblind/color deficient as I am with harvesting The idea is this: When you have the pickaxe cursor, a small semitransparent box appears to the right of the cursor saying what the harvestable is, and maybe if you can't harvest it, the lettering would be red and in parenthesis (You need X nexus to harvest this!) This could also be applied to the see button by having a box saying what you currently have highlighted.
  20. NEW_SOUND work

while I don't know anything about the coding ('tis a programming language I've never looked into), when the higher quality sounds come out I can gladly see what I can do with additional effects and cleanup on the sounds themselves if anyone wants me to give it a shot
  21. Harvestable popup boxes

I'm thinking for the new guys a bit though, a friend of mine started playing the game and they had some issues figuring what flowers were (they're red-green colorblind whaddya know?) What you could do for obtaining the info is a hard copy of the stats onto the player's computer, thus making it so you don't have to get the info over the net but instead directly off the player's computer.
  22. Taverns!

I think instead of using a deterrant to normal trade, use an incentive to bring people into taverns. That fast regen idea sounds good, and it's perfectly logical. Perhaps inside of taverns you could also have an increased ability to make potions (you know...like a brewery almost), which would definately draw a crowd although admittedly may be a little out there
  23. Teleport attack

Unless you want to telefrag, I think you don't need to do something with that XD. besides, what Cyprom said works pretty well
  24. capes/cloaks should give cold protection

This one came before the hybrid thread
  25. Hybrid Capes

enriched Conjuror's Cape = <3 (yes I'm a summoning nut, I'm researching fluffy summoning as I type!) I like the ideas although yeah not all capes should be hybridized or enriched, although some of them like the Conjuror cape should have a way to improve them
