  1. EL closing without any advice (Linux)

Hello for you all.. I'm runing EL on Gentoo Linux 2005, with a GeForce 2 Ti 64MB. I've no problem to run, such lags or connection issues, but suddenly the game closes. Yes, it closes! Sometimes the game delays a little more, sometimes a little less, bur almost always it closes. Someone can say to me what is wrong? (Forgive my poor english [if it was]..

Men, saddly all the help posted here doesn't helped me.. when I change "nv" driver to "nvidia", my X does not start. and I still can't install the drivers got from nvidia.com, cause it says that its the wrong kernel modules, or something like that, and even qhen I point to mykernel-sources, it doesnt work.. any other idea? I'll keep trying to install these drivers.. Oh! I almost forget to say: I've just finished the kernel update, from 2.6.12-gentoo-r6 to 2.6.12-gentoo-r10 and all seems to running well, but without any changes for my problem..
