Ah, good old flamewar, nice to read.

Well, i have not tested it. But looking at the stats and from the fact you can't wear any items, some notes on the phoenix can be taken:No, thank you. I already know what people want. They want the phoenix to be something that can kill anything in 2 hits, and be invulnerable to anything, cost no creature food, double your carry weight just like the mule, be fast like the horses used to, and increase reading speed by 20x.You get a pretty good attack bonus, but you don't get any damage bonus, so you hit frequently for very low (0?) damage;
You get a pretty good dodge bonus but you can't wear armor or COL, so when you take damage you take a lot of damage with low HP;
You get a chance of reborn, but you can't restore + you still have low hp;
You get high fire protection, but there is weapons/monsters which deals tons of fire damage?
The cooldown thing looks pretty good, there isn't equivalent outside phoenix shapeshifting. On the other hand you can't cast some spells, but that only matters much in combat anyway.
Without testing, on paper, it doesn't look awesome at all. And you have to spend tons (millions?) of gc to test it for its full power. Someone have done it?

(1)The levels required to "level up" the phoenix are the same of the mule? How much gc (and time) are required to level up the phoenix? EDIT: Duh, i didn't read, Ent answered this on the news of game update post. Yes, its similar.
(2)It got any armor or extra HP or extra damage? Yes, i have read Entropy's information of the update. Without any of it, i can't see the usefulness of trading armor+med+col+shield+weapon+spells for "reborn chance"+"extra att"+"extra evasion"+"mag imun" except for TD (and looking cool).
Please, i am not trying to be an idiot and mean, i have not tested the glyph and I have no clue about it, thats why i am asking.
(3)Anyone knows what the "chance to reborn" translate to actual numbers? Like "with level 3 phoenix i reborn 40% of time, etc"?

Maybe you should have sent a forum pm then, instead of making a public thread where anyone can reply.1- i ask radu not u
I guess he has tons of that stone already, and he wants it to become more rare so he can sell at a higher price.So basicly, you want less random drops in the instances, making it even harder to recover your costs by removing drops, while you're also/already complaining it's already costing you too much? OK!Btw, i really don't care about the rarity of the stone, fyi.

Me neither.tbh, I wouldn't give weight to any words said from lara.PS.: Welcome back Gohan, cya in kf when i visit the game.

If iirc someone once (ages ago) took the tag of a well known guild (EG, iirc) and asked for a "ransom". Maybe the HELP folks could pay the guy who got the tag to take the name back.

(1) This topic is pointless, BROD would not be removed, Entropy already said that MANY times, period;
(2)I have to agree with Ateh, his last post in this thread pwns;
(3) Amar... just incredible... Liquid==Liam?? o.O

I said 'how' he behaves, not 'why'...
-
Or maybe he is just nice with people he likes and behaves like a prick to everyone else... btw, this topic evolved with people discussing why he does what he does, etc.... yawn.

In RL far more people get killed by "friendly fire" than by landmines.The use of land mines is controversial because they are indiscriminate weapons, harming friend , enemy or fluffy bunny alike.A magic sword you choose who to kill. a mine you dont you kill the first thing that walks past.
Also, when pk was very active and there were no commands to set allied guilds, you could see tons of people misclicking and killing each other.
The old meme that a sword/bow/mine/gun is just a tool, its absolutely true. People kill people, the tools they use to accomplish that may vary.

Galaga on the arcade.

meaning the reason the price went up is cause people need them and buy those rosto'sThat means that the price is high cuz of high demand (which is exactly what i said before, you have such such amazing arguments...) .... Solution to high demand: high offer. How can you increase offer? More people buying from shop instead of black market.
-
Its all about offer/demand, if more people bought rostos from shop instead of buying from gold sellers, we all would have a better economy, etc, we already discussed this stuff...and your post isnt rediculous after Entropy stated that it has very little to do with gold farming?And did you read the stuff you quoted from Entropy? Ofc you didn't, you are Infamous, anyways, he said the rostos prices don't have a direct correlation with the BM prices (and just for the sake of completeness of my post, i think it has an indirect correlation, more black market activity, less rostos in game, higher price).
-
Actually one of the very few good "warnings" on this forum, tyvm for it Galvin, but i kinda should expect it from rutu.
-
This is common in EL.I have more Mutual Allied Guilds than I have Brain Cells left, so if youre comin' bring 'em 3 deep, at least.i lol'd
-
It can at least start to be solved by making gold selling illegal, imho. I guess we already discussed it in detail, not that i care much anymore.Stop trying to "solve" what can't be solved.The rest of your comment was ridiculous, ofc, like "with less gc entering game more people sell gc and the rates went up"...
-
I have read some (probably most) of the posts on this thread...
(1)I remember like some weeks back when AMAR did exactly that and tried to sell for 60k, people were like "omfg amar", now since its Learner most people say its ok;
(2)About free markets, etc, all the major economic crisis resulted in more regulation of market, not less. If you let it stays completely unregulated the economies just go crash and burn. Yaya, invisible hand and all that, blind believing in that resulted in 1929 depression;
(3)Yes, people have other options. . I was sick & tired of the rampaging inflation on EL, now we have people "speculating" over the price of stuff.
-
Lies ftl.Oh so biased coming from Lorck, the bad bad man wanted to buy GC from me once upon a time. -
I never bought or sell stuff in the black market... ofc people who use it frequently will defend it, thats why they are obviously biased.how the hell can you call others biased, when all you say is "BM bad bad bad ban BM" not looking at the other side of the matterAnd yes, its bad bad BM, what is the "other side of the matter"? in what the BM helped the game? Nothing?
-
Huh? I called biased those who said the idea was bad bad when they are the ones buying and selling gc, like luigi. And about the "reading" part i already replied to your "argument", but i will do that again.Read all 4 pages and almost laughed at lorck Calling everyone biased when he is truly the one who doesn't even bother reading other peoples posts.
Ye, and you seems to not know the BM either.I don't study economies
Yes, you are wrong, and your logic is flawed because you don't understand how the BM works. The BM players keep increasing their rate in order to compete unfairly with the shop, so they are always "attractive" using your own words. And again, the ratio from the shop used to be 1$->3kgc 2 or 3 years ago (when gc was EASIER to get in game), the BM was a little more. The shop increased their rate, the BM also did that. The difference you may ask? The difference is that the economy got screwed in the process.Slowing BM down would merely be temporary. Say everyone started buying from the shop just to get gc (e.g. buying rostos or binding stones and selling in game). That would lower the prices of the shop items considerably. When that happens, you get more stones / gc == more stones / $ from BM, making BM a lot more attractive (considering you'd buy gc from BM, and then buying the cheap stones in game). In the long run I don't think it'd change almost anything, except maybe a few long time players getting banned, which I consider a negative effect for the game.Might be wrong, though that's what my logic tells me would happen.
And if you meant a "few long time players" by gold sellers, i really hope they get banned, really. They just harm the gaming experience of a lot more people.

Swords probably killed more people in the history than landmines ever will do, and all fantasy games have swords.

Def bless is +10, i also heard that the bless of engineering god is only +5. Different skills, different blessings, all giving 20% exp, i can't see why they crafting god is the only one who gives only 16% of bonus exp.one of the att/def gods gives +15 blessing, and they can go to 20%, so your comment is void. -
Infamous: i asked why the only way to increase shop buying of resources is to completely get rid of it, nobody answered. There is a clear way to increase shop buying: limit the BM, the best option would make it outright illegal, but if there is sacrifices to be made, like 1 char at a time, it would still be worth it.
About mods saying bye to RL, etc, they already investigate all trades for illegal multi AND we are discussing here if making BM illegal is for the win, if mods think they would be "overworked" they would just say. Don't forget Aislinn's comment btw:
Please do not comment on suggestions with reasons based on moderators jobs or what you think they are or aren't, we will decide on that aspect ourselves if the suggestion ever gets that far. -
I agree with the suggestion completely, but i would like to point something: Zarin's ques's are cheap when compared to other "non-combat" gods, so the "last" quest for you to get the 20% bonus should be pricey to balance the things out.

And trully offtopic: DP, you are a good guy and all, but please try to learn2edit. Doing multiple posts doesn't help "your side"
