    Before trusting people, you should do a search in the dispute sections of the forum, specially with gc in advance. Ransom was a known outlaw already.

     

    Funny that he says i am outlaw when i did nothing.

     

    Anyway, i hope that you learnt your valuable lesson and that other people don't do this mistake.

    What I meant and I thought I made it clear with is to be careful with generalising and assuming everybody being in the same guild/association/etc. are exactly the same. It is all good as long as you are the one to use this bat to hit others. One day you may be on the receiving end and I believe you won't like it. It doesn't take much. There are so many people who just LOVE feeling better than others. That's the label I stuck to you and Stronze right now.
    It's not like "they are the same". This act showed that KAOS guild has no rules against bagjumping or stuff like that. And that you should not trust people directly involved in this, specially when you have a bag under you.

     

    That doesn't make Aislar a bagjumper, just someone who see people in his guild do grief to others and don't care. Most people are the same.

     

    Also, imho, it was stupid to make a bag that big. People could just disconnect and the bag poof, or get bjed by others.

    I agree with Dipi, but just wanted to note that bronze armors (the most underrated peace of EL gear ever) has negative values for cold and fire protection which can be exploited by an enemy using thermal serp sword. You can drink potions of cold and fire protection to mitigate this drawback.

     

    Also, Bronzes got excellent mag protection values which will help you the effects of summoned bears and tigers in kf.

    Segmentation faults when a program try to access a memory region which it shouldn't.

     

    Probably you don't have permission or ownership of some file which the EL client is trying to access. You can do the following (as root) to change ownership to your normal user account:

    cd ~/Games/el_linux
su your_root_password
chown * jonathan
chown */* jonathan
chown */*/* jonathan

     

    If it doesn't work can you please post the output of the following commands? 

    glxinfo | grep rendering
glxinfo | grep vendor
ldd el.x86.linux.bin

    You can also use:

    chmod +x binary (or script)

     

    There is also some methods to do it in graphical environment, my favorite is Konqueror, there you should use:

    Right Mouse Click on the file --> Properties --> Permissions --> and check the "Is Executable" box. It works just as chmod, with any binary file or script.

    Gordalf, pk maps are not the place for defenseless noobs. If you gone there you took a risk, knowing it or not.

     

    About the "trick", i guess i am not allowed to talk about it, so i will remain silent.

    EDIT: In a stupid car analogy, you can drive away and crash to another car. But it would be silly to say "omg, i did not knew how to drive, how the hell would i know how to avoid the crash?!?".

    Ah ok, Morath, you did that because you have a pure and noble heart. And you are also a poor guy.

     

    That explains your "i am a superstar" in 6 and "there are winners and losers".

     

    Tbh, you are just an attention seeker. An unfortunate guy which wants to have attention but are not really good at anything, so just try to be an ass to have the spotlights on you.

     

    Congratz, you are a superstar on channel 6 for a week or so, but ofc, you are more in the "loser" side than in the "winner" side. :P

    And you, Morath, prefer to have 50kgc than all EL (including you) to have many special days.

     

    Maxine worked a lot for it, spend lots of gc in bombs. Also spent quite a lot of time to level engineering. I have much more sympathy to her case, that is, to get her reward for the job she did.

    Many ways. More HP. TSP. Rosto. Tele when you get first hit.
    I think u forgot what being a n00b is ... and it was the first time there ... + that "trick" to get drops on no drop arena, that newbs definately cant know

     

    Was it my fault that Newhope uses "tricks" (to not to say "bugs") to get drops, that he is that a unfair guy?

    What trick exactly? He poisoned you? I don't know another "trick" or "bug" to kill other players and make them drop in no drop areas. It would be interested in it. ;)

    No, its not the same thing Gordalf.

     

    You can defend yourself from being pked. You aren't even required to be there. Even if you was there and died, there is a way to stop NH to get your items, namely rostogol stone.

     

    Its really stupid to compare normal pk action, and bagjumping.

     

    EDIT: My point is: in NH's case it was your fault. All yours. Maxine could not do much to prevent Morath's bagjump. And no, i am no friend of Newhope and attack him on pk maps.

    I was not sure what other options to give to disagree.
    Hmm, the prices on NPC are actually too high for some items?

    NPC should pay more for certain items?

    Those 2 options would balance your poll a bit.

    Also, there are many people who don't take anti to buy vials, thread, etc. If the prices of some key items are increased, then the penalty for taking anti is lessened. Also, it makes to level in some skills more difficult and expensive.

    Voted for NPC prices are OK.

     

    And yes, the NPCs are the ultimate defense against inflation.

     

    Also noted that there are only one poll option which disagrees with the submitter point of view (i.e. NPCs prices are too low, and compete with mixers), and many which agrees.
