1- Cant see why not...if your buying it from a store you could always ask them then if it doesnt work youd have grounds to return it. 2- Sorry i avoid lap tops so no idea 3- Yes that card should work just fine with Eternal lands. (on matters like this id also advice waiting for others to respond as well, then you can see a few different views on it)

Might be a flash in the pan ammount, but it all adds up, thats still 10-30-60 w/e harv xp you wouldnt have got A few more variants would be nice tho. But this was only implimented last night and who knows what will be added in the future Might be nice if the micro events dont happen when getting your happy hour, but only when the xp has run out. Then again that means you can harvest higher level items at lower level which might not be all that good in the long term. hard call. but just an idea. Still just started harvesting sunflowers and finding loads of nice bonus xp, loose coins. (5 whilst writing this ) and still not annoying me hehehe.

I agree. Makes harvesting a little more interesting, and that bonus xp will really add up in the long term. After all this is a game thats meant to be played not click walk away to do other things. Will take a bit of getting used to for some people but in the long term seems like a good change to me. Have noticed that extra events will likely mean i wont be able to harvest some of the higher level items, after factoring in the delay between starting harvest again. so no ubber xp for harvesting things grossly over my level....but again that isnt a bad thing ^^

voted 3 on both. If its mixable it gets mixed...when i dont have anything to mix on those days i tend to throw a tantrum and then look for a spawn praying that everyone is too busy mixing thier storages dry

System specs would be helpful. Have you tried an uninstall and reinstall (dont forget to rename the folder Eternal lands, located in my documents. To something else first (I usually rename it simply 'eternal'), that way you get a complete reinstall and you can keep your user settings like spell list counters etc)

Isnt that the way of life? Everyday somewhere someone does something that some one else doesnt like doing. And they usually get paid for doing it. In el Its always been the same. Some players dont like fighting, thus some of those cool unique items that only monsters drop are not initially available to them. Some people like mixing and there are a few things you have to make rather than get from drops/npc's. I dont see why doing/not doing quests should be any different. Some players prefer doing quests and they should get some sort of reward even if that reward is only available from quests. However saying that i find quests tedious and boring "run over here, run back, go over there, come back, dash to this place etc etc etc" lots of boot leather spent so I only do them so i know how they work ^^ If i remember quest writers asked players for help on some quests (quiete a long time back) and nothing came of it. Not sure what happened there but id guess there wasnt a very large responce. which probably just shows the general views on quests.

Have you tried the stabdard updating drivers etc. Also a few specs of your machine would go a long way to helping It looks at first glance to be an issue with your graphics card.

Have you checked your fire wall? These can sometimes cause issues with getting into the game. esp Nortons. Also if you get to the charactr name input screen you cant press ctrl and o, and then get intot he options page in game. Id suggest turning off options in the video and adv video tab/skycam tab. This way you can enable options like poor man, to see if it will work.

How about the option of reconsidering a P2P server? The same game, but costing 5$ a month or what ever ($20 for 6 months etc). Unlike the Pk server this place is the same as the current server...same Pk zones, same spawns etc etc. I can imagine a lot of people willing to migrate over to a new server, for the various benefits (fewer occupied spawns, chance to hit those all importanmt 1st lv 20 alchemsit, 1st lvl 40 crafter etc) . The current server remains as it is free, but with all of its current faults and intrigues. I would pay for this. Just a thought. this way the game is still free and remains the same to those who dont want to pay, and there is a magical place for those that are willing able to pay a few $ for it. I would have migrated over and played ont he pk server except i am not interested in the PK aspect which seriously put me off.

I am willing to unlock dabomb1 however only if you agree to the following conditions. You will only be allowed this one character (no alts). No more same ip trading in any form. No Character sharing and no more trouble at all. At least you didnt hide the fact they were your alts and that in itself has to go somewhere. Id suggest you read the rules again so there can be no more misunderstandings of them.

Are you running the latest drivers for your video card?

You were lucky to get let back once and that was under condition of no more trouble. You failed to keep to that agreement.

Try uninstalling the game, then manually delete the eternal lands folder located in my documents. then reisntall see if that helps.

Sounds like a different problem to the one the GeForce 8600 GT/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW! cards are having. However i did notice that you are on OpenGL Version: 2.1.8494 Release are you sure you have the latest drivers from ATi? dated 2/20/2009

Do you get the same "video card drivers stopped responding, retsarting them" message liquid?

Thas quite an old graphics card, try updating the drivers, but sorry to say you may find it is just past it.

If its an issue with the school blocking trying to bypass that ISNT a great idea, as a lot of people/institutions/companys get a little upset when you start doing things they have set up precautions to stop you from doing. If you dont think this is the case and is an oversight by the schools IT department. Try talking to them they may come up with a viable solution However naturally i believe most schools will tell you no to playing online games.

I have the same issue, and have not found a solution (running OLDER versions of the drivers seems to help somewheat) but from the people ive talked to it seems to be a problem on Vista, xp users arnt suffering the same problem, i havnt heard from people using other Op systems however. So my advice is try and searching Nvidia for an older driver for your card, see if that helps (this however comes at the cost of some performance >.<)

It happens, generally you can just leave it and it will get cleaned, or you an also edit the post in the thread explianing that it was a double. and someone will clean it up.
