    Not sure if this is the right place to post it, but it still has to do with bot payments.

     

    Princess_Legend is now owned by Lokey and her fee to Radu is due middle March 2010

    About this bot question of paying for hosting etc.

    I'm on limited income in real life. i have a set amount that is budgeted for game play.

    The reason I'm paying for hosting (and Moebird is as well) is that we dont know the first thing about keeping a bot running and we need someone who can keep the codes etc up to date.

    With the paid service we get everything 'automatically' updated. Any bugs are ironed out as soon as they are discovered.

    I'm OK with small market places.

    LLL guild try to keep an assorted stock on our bots in our mini shopping center/market in Tarsengard.

    The reason our little market got started is because of that Lenny who was stifling trading in the night hours of EL.

    I'm a hoarder by nature, but here I'm trying to be some sort of all rounder. I cannot get enough of some of the items I need. and trying to buy them ingame can be a hassle.

    At the moment my total gold in EL is just over 100k but about a week ago I only had 3k.

     

    Being on a very limited income in real life also precludes my spending in the EL shop.

    Well my name (LadyBea) and it's slight variations, (underscore etc) is who I am - a Lady :whistle: and my name in real life 'Bea'

    As to my alternate, her name is Buzzzzie and that came about cause the people I was playing with at the time said I was always running round like a buzzie bee. When I went to try to make the name, "Buzzie" was already taken, so tried to get "Buzzzie", but when the character got made and I saw her name for the first time, I realized my fingers has slipped and I had 4 z's in name, and it has stuck as my alt's name ever since.

    Actually, I said 3 hours of joules, and I only gave two hours, saving 1 hour for a different time zone (but I forgot to give you the last hour, so I will tonight, if I remmeber).

     

     

    Thank you Entropy. I was starting to wonder myself if I had been dreaming when you said 3 hours.

    This is what I was getting at, to have the time at a time for the participants as well.

    OK if it is split up, then everyone gets it.

    At the moment of writing there is another invasion going on, but it is one of the gods wreaking havoc.

    Is it me? If I have this wrong then shoot me down in flames :confused:

    One thing I noticed (and a couple of others have commented to me as well) is the last general invasion had a reward of a day of Joule.

    The timing of the invasion for me was evening, just before I went to bed. And the time the day was given as reward was early morning, just after I got up.

    To me it seemed a bit unfair. One set of players did all the work at clearing out the invasion monsters, and another group got the reward.

    I would like to see the main group of players that took part in the invasion get the reward at the same or similar time of the day in their time zone. E.G. 24 hours or 48 hours later not 12 or 36 hours.

    As far as I know trading with your bot is the only way to keep it stocked up.

    If it is breaking rule 5, then I for one would be in a helluva lot of trouble as I trade with our 4 guild ( *_Legend) bots.

    Now this is just my opinion............ Not to be taken as gospel.

    Well I can remember finding EL when I went looking for a RPG that was not going to cost me anything... I needed a break from a game I loved but had become a bit disenchanted with. (Yes I know that sounds odd)

     

    January 2005 I found EL. and the rest is history.

    In that first month I joined the only guild that was persistant enough - Mikeman624 and the guild was Eternal Warriors. That guild broke up and LLL was born about 3rd or 5th April 2005.

     

    Long Live Eternal Lands.

    Good news! Radu has graciously agreed to code the quests, starting with LaForge's quests. I think everyone should say thanks to radu for listening :)

    Radu I must thank you for hearing us. And Acelon I hope that is one of the quests you have done ready.

     

    I'm looking forward to finding some new gods to serve :) :)

    Over the years I have been playing, there has been mention of all the gods in Eternal Lands.

    Some have appeared and some still not in game. Right at the moment I have 3 gods that I worship, but maybe with a few more added we might be able to have 4?

    I’d like to see the potion Goddess Jayden and also Elandria – Goddess of Alchemy - and Lucca – Goddess of Harvesting - brought into game.

     

    These ones already have their temples in place.

    Elandria The Goddess of Alchemy. Desert Pines

    Lucca The Goddess of Harvesting. Roanoff Island

    Jayden The Goddess of Potion. Morcraven,

     

    For the fighers (and do they really need more gods?) I have no idea where the temples are for these ones..

    LaForge (Gnome) The God of Engineering

    Xiao (Dark Elf) The God of Ranging

     

    The P2P races even have Gods.. Note from Acelon: These races are currently for storyline only... there are no future plans for these gods being for the designated races ONLY. If they are added one day, they will be for everyone.

    Iringold (Gold Dragon) The Father of the Draegoni

    Dvar (Dwarf) Father of Dwarves and Gnomes

    Looks nice, but was testing in VotD

    I'm having more bugs show up. maybe cosmetic. but I have found 2 buildings so far that have moved. If you look at Elf_Ninja's picture you can see the Flower shop has moved 5 tiles to wards the other building covering up the stairs.

    A 2nd house that has shifted is in Isla Prima.

    The front door of the house on IP at 81,118 is now at 86,118.

     

    I redownloaded the sky file and installed it again, but still spinning the storage room causes game to crash.

    One advantage of this system is that I can run smaller invasions at night time, so people in other time zones can enjoy and contribute.

     

    I hope by the 'night time' you mean your night time not the EL night time :rolleyes: I don't fancy having to cope with Lenny as well as other invasion monsters...

    Over all a very good idea, as us from down under (kiwis and roos) can miss out on a few things.

    Well I just found a bug. If it is one that is.....

    I was sitting in Tarsengard storage, and using the Mouse wheel spun the room around and got

    "Eternal-Lands Client has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

     

    Just tried it outside storage and no crash.
