  1. I understand ppl running low on patience atm, but Labby is not one to let anyone down, trust me, he must have a very good reason for staying away this long!

Don't forget, he has a real life as well, and a very busy one, I may add!

Oh yes, posting a message here is very time consuming. And don't say "maybe he doesn't have internet anymore" because there are even cybercafés in the desert.

  2. The thing is, those formulas are mostly for exp. They give alot of summoning exp compared to other, low level things.

But as stated already: (gc/xp rate too weak to even think about it)

Why pay 10kgc for 1k exp if you can make 10k exp with 1k gc? (ok those are not real numbers, just to explain the thing).

Ok you save some mouseclicks, but that's it practically.

  3. You're suppose to explore and find the npc that starts the quest I imagine. I started many of the old quests that way, walking around talking to random people. It was a fun surprise if they gave me a quest. But in the end, having someone tell you were to begin and solving it out for yourself is more fun than running around clueless looking for the quest.

But if there are 5 NPC's involved in the quest, it quiet sucks if you find 4 of them but not the start NPC. Most games don't hide the start of the quest, the hardest part should be completing the quest, not finding it.

  4. I would say yes if there comes more harvest spots with decent amounts of ores. With only 3-5 relatively close spots for all ores it will be a pain when they get depleted over and over again. My vote depends on how it will be implemented, but since there is no exact explanation I won't vote.

And I also agree with ermabwed's first post.

  5. It's neither a bug nor a feature. I only recently heard about this practice, and I am going to disallow it by not giving exp if one of the combatants is not online. Will probably happen at the next update.

How can you pvp if your not online? You mean AFK>?

There's this bug that keeps you going if you grue or log while in combat. If your opponent flees and quickly reengages in combat it will keep you 'online' and gaining xp. It apparently takes quite a few seconds for your char to actually disappear from the game after you break the connection, this is also why logging off quickly when being attacked by a far stronger opponent / mob , hoping it will be gone from the area when you log back on will probably make you log back on with your char in the underworld nonetheless.

It's not a bug, it was implented because some people just logged off in PK right before they saw an enemy.

  6. So far, I mostly focused on keeping the veterans happy. But after realizing how hard to please they are, I am seriously starting to focus on newbies. I am going to make a new server for newbies sometime this year, where the economy will play almost no role, sort of like most of the other games are. Also much more experience and drops, so the gold will never be a problem.

So you want to spread the little amount of players we have even more? :P

  7. I have also been thinking, I think this change doesn't hurt harvesters who are online with multiple accounts to sell for $$. If they play with multiple accounts they already had to pay attention to all chars anyway, so now they just need to click a little more, but it stays the same => They earn money from a game.
