  1. 2 Holes in DP Client 1.9.5

I just downloaded and installed the latest client. I went to the two coords but I did not go underground.
  2. v1.9.0

I was in the neighborhood so I decided to see if the bug was fixed. Much to my surprise, I can't get in the room to try it out. Before I could not get out, now I can't get in. The door at Zirakgunda [204,354] (cont2map10_insides.elm) used to get me in that room but now that door does nothing. Is this intentional?
  3. v1.9.0

Coordinates: [6,163] Description of the bug: The door that I used to get in won't let me back out. Unable to find another exit. Don't know if this is a bug or a secret or maybe just an evil trap. Exact map: Zirakinbar Caves cont2map10_caves.elm
  4. Camera rotation.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but I do know it seems to result in camera control that is not always consistent on my computer. It seems that it is possible for the camera to go into cost mode (deceleration) while I'm still holding the middle mouse button down. This happens if my mouse stops moving all the sudden(while I'm dragging the camera) or if I lift my optical mouse up into the air a bit while I'm moving the mouse sideways which causes the mouse cursor to suddenly stop, resulting in a costing camera even though I'm still holding down the middle button. It seems like the camera should not be allowed to cost while I'm "holding onto it" with the middle mouse button. The inconsistencies are most noticeable if I decide to take a quick look to the side. If my mouse/cursor decelerates to a stop, than the camera stops moving when the mouse/cursor does which is expected. But sometimes if I bring the mouse to a stop too fast the camera will just go spinning out of control, although it usually doesn't. It looks like the Client uses whatever cursor speed it last saw that was above zero to use as a starting point when it goes into deceleration mode. Jerking the camera to the side and stopping suddenly can apparently result in a "last non zero cursor speed" to be anything in between slow to really fast which seems to cause a random amount of camera costing. If this isn't a bug, it would be nice to disable costing while the middle mouse button is still being held down. Overall I'm not enjoying camera rotation in Version 1.8.0 Beta. I preferred the camera behavior from version 1.7. I've tried messing around with the settings. If I can't find something I like, I'm hoping I'll just get used to it and not notice that it's different.

I will now consider mpogd.com a "game" where the goal is to get as many votes as possible, because that is the only way to win at mpogd. I also agree with Entropy that being in the top 5 all year would be pretty cool. Thanks guys

I just vited "#1", The filve pillars game and saw this... Big surprise huh? They may cheat but I'm sure we can combat their evil somhow. Edit: BTW excellent job guys. 91 votes so far in 1 day, I'm sure we'll reach 100, keep this up and we have a real shot at #1.
  11. Voting @ www.mpogd.com

Not at the rate we've been going. On average we've gotton about 25 votes per day. We'd have to do somthing special. Probably a coordinated compain led by staff and mods. I'd say wait till the start of the next month if we're going to shift into high gear. 10th place seems pretty cool.

Some of the strange voting results is because some online webpage based games will automatically give their users extra money/turns/whatever if they vote so their users vote for the in-game advantage, not because they feel like voting. It makes it harder for games like EL that play fair. Edit: to verify what I just said, I signed up for the virtual online wrestling website(#1 on mpogd.com) and looked around. It wasn't long before I found an interesting page. I took a screen shot and highlighted the good stuff. Does this seem fair to anybody?

some systems can dectect it(switching IP and voting 100 times or somthing), I've heard of it being called IP spoofing. How it works, I don't know. It sounds fishy. Maybe if your were voting on somebody's behalf or something.... hehe
