When I think of an RPG or RPG type game, I always think of vampires. Any form of vampire would be great! Vampires, vampire bats, vampire bunnies, etc. Give them life drain spell, only damaged by magic or fire damage.

    YES!

    Raptors in RoT past

using the cockatrice model/imagery to reduce art/graphics work this creature would be permanently speed haxed possibly have the same health, a/d build etc as invadrag without the invisibility of course, not sure on drops.

the question is does it ignore mm perk/cape?

i choose Rot past as its a decent enough size to have 6+ spawns there and its a map you don't have to use, rot past if it is not already should be made multi for these mobs to work best.

its worth a test see how the speed haxed attacking mobs behave, ie would the incoming mobs be able to swarm a player before they see them coming.

I don't know if speed hax would reduce the ability of a mob to grab/engage combat?

another after thought, if these mobs had no ignore level, how would that effect an invasion on this map? a re-spawning high aggressive natural mob in an invasion situation, rather than just using a high invasion mob thats gone when killed

Let me get it straight. Is you idea a bunch of hyper-fast naked chickens mobbing players?

  2. Hi,

This will be a short and timed invasion. Rules are simple:
    1. There will be quite a few monsters spawned in South Kilaran Field and Carmien Manor.

    2. Monsters in SKF will be uncapped.

    3. Monsters in CM will be capped at 120.

    4. Clear all the monsters within 60 minutes to get a second wave AND bosses.

    5. Otherwise, only a second wave.

    6. Second wave will include an invasion in Desert Pines capped at 100.

    Cheers,

    ~v

  3. Hi,

let's have a simple invasion with a little twist.

    1. There will be 5000 monsters spawned in Idaloran:
      1. 300 will be capped at 110
      2. 300 will be capped at 130
      3. 300 will be capped at 150
      4. remaining ones will be uncapped
    2. There is a timer set-up: 90 minutes. Once the time is over and there are:
      1. more than 250 monsters, you will get a second wave of monsters; all uncapped
      2. less than 250 monsters, you will get a few bosses in each of the cap (110, 130, 150 and uncapped) in addition,
      3. less than 50 monsters, there will be significantly more bosses and their quality will improve, too.
    3. The monsters will be spawned ahead of time and capped below 5 a/d. They will be set to proper caps when the invasion starts.

    Cheers,

    ~v

  4. Howdy!

There are multiple astro that significantly affect our gaming. I would like to suggest a new Online Shop item that would slightly affect it by shifting move your astro forward by 3 or 6 hours depending on the overall length of the cycle (3 hours for 24H, 6 hours for 48H). The item should have a reasonable cooldown, for example half of the time it moves the astro, i.e. 1.5 or 3 hours.

The price? I suppose that could be a subject for discussion and depend strongly on demand.

    Cheers,

    ~v

  5. It sounds like a variation of last-man standing. I am not sure what do you need mixing for in this set-up. There is no real reason to mix anything. Unless you meant:

    1. Teams start without any gear.

    2. Need to go to their hyperbag, mix their gear.

    3. Kill each other.

That would make probably some more sense. However, you should spend more time on team balancing. At this point a team with 1 high-level manufacturer and 4 high-level fighters will sweep everybody.

The idea has potential. At this point it's but a rought sketch.

    <edit>

A possible solution for balancing the team would be to start with very base ingredients. Moreover, you should include ings for gear, potions, essies. This will force the teams to balance their skill-set and plan their activities time-wise. Otherwise the other team might hit them before they are ready. Another idea would be to make 2 or 3 hyperbags instead of 1.

I don't like the idea. It sounds like it could be a way around certain restrictions certain players have. Also, in my view, there are way too many name changes as it is. It really messes with the sense of community when people try to hide who they are and/or we see constant new names but they are obviously experienced players. It also is a way for scammers to hide. While scamming isn't against the rules, they also should be made to pay the social price for that.

Issues like that just means the server would have to track restrictions, name history, and other factors.

Yup. Fully agree with this point. It shall not be that difficult to restrict wrongdoers from hiding. Whereas pitiful souls that strive for some variety shall never be limited!

  8. Hi,

there are some pitiful souls in the game that cry their sorrowful eyes dry because they cannot change their in-game name due to various reasons. To answer their needs I would like to propose a new shop-only item, that could be possible to trade in-game: a stone of name-change. Using it would start a procedure of a regular name change. To make things simpler, the stone should be priced similarly to a name change for p2p character.

This is a mightily great idea!

    Cheers,

    ~me
