It also seems to lock onto a specific position / creature / person for all actions Seconds after I log in , If it happens to be in attack mode, If I click anywhere at all , it tells me I am not close enough to attack. If I can figure out which creature nearby it has locked onto, i can move close to it, click anywhere on the screen and I begin to attack. Similarly, sometimes when in look mode it locks onto a player, no matter where I click I get 'you see [playername]'. I think I get the rare moments when the game seems to function when I log in and nothing is near me. Which could explain last night as i was exploring alone and the maps where pretty deserted.

one small details, I didnt suffer any of these problems the first night I was running the new client, they only started when i logged on today

Same problem here. IBM Thinkpad T21 with a savage MX/IX 8mb As well as having to ctrl click, I find that my cursor changes from attack to look mode on its own, and sometimes I cannot attack (for example I am in the garg cave in tarsengard right now, attempting to attack a gargolye results in "Not here! (cant attack players in non combat maps)" I cant open bags Every few minutes the exact state changes, sometimes for a short period I can walk without ctrl-right click, sometimes for a short period I can attack. I have yet to be able to pick up.

So next time you hear someone badmouthing us, remember this is what they believe constitutes constructive criticism........

1. I dont remember you, must have been a looooong time ago. 2. Please give actually examples , rather than vaugue accusations with no evidence 3. No we require a skill over 20 , and thats being ramped up. We are a newbie friendly guild. check the guild description. We have a very strict set of rules and those who break them are kicked (booted one just yesterday). So we take in the newbs you dont want , teach em the rules, answer all their newb questions so you dont have to , and hold them accountable. From my perspective we are providing a public service, and then being slated for doing so. 4. Who, When , Where , yet again, specific examples with evidence rather than vaugue accusations please.

Rebel you lost the account because you where not supposed to have it in the first place. Its an account ban not an ip ban. Most of the areas on the forum are members only, your account was approved by accident. And i suggest that you read jimmy post above, if you are not going to listen to our responses , then why bother arguing with us at all?

Well, it you guys who made a deal and broke it, if you want to work on basics, I would advise a mild brush up on honesty to start with.

Hi Kit, I do not care about settling this anymore, I tried , I was tricked , that game is over. I honestly thought a little polite conversation could resolve the whole matter quickly but sadly it was not to be. As for the number of people guilds, read back and count carefully. (Check my earlier post on the topic), its actually not far off even, and frankly being on the popular side is my last concern. Sean

P.S Kit, I appreciate your comments and thanks for making them. Its just i dont think this can realistically be considered a forum for diplomacy. I have not seen anything constructive coming from the other side, or even the attempt to open any form of negotation. Read back to the beginning of the thread and you will find me doing just that. The apology post was fullfilment of our side of a deal reached with ember, and instead of honoring the deal she pushed on with her attack. I think if you will read through from the beginning you will find that at this point my tone and goal change entirely. Thanks again. Sean

Frankly , politely pming ember was what sent things down the toilet, I did so , we reached an agreement, she trampled all over it and now look what happens, as for being outnumbered, I see 2 or 3 people arguing with me and thats hit, hardly cause to run for the hills (its about half of a tiny guild). As for Linkt , yip he is guilty as charged. But get those logs and post them by all means, the market thread had done to pieces and was completely off topic. I was there, it was being spammed repeatedly, and linkt made a misguided attempt to bring the forum back on topic. Pretending to be a mod (for all of 10 secs) was not the way to do it. But you cant fault what he was trying to achieve. Diplomacy against these thugs and bullys is not my goal, after being tricked by Ember, my only intent is not to let their accusations go unchallenged. My encounter with Ember proved once and for all that any attempts at diplomacy where futile.

Correction , we have a thread about how one person dislikes some of them, and some of her zealot followers chime in or generally slander us. We do however have evidence of you guys not being friendly. One of you has a mild case of wounded pride and delcares a Jihad. Its hard to imagine a more unfriendly group.And as for a lot, I doubt more than 10 people total have posted As for lots, well not too good with the ole math are we sparky. We have Kala,Daxon,GreenGanjaKing,_A_ and Captain_Smile joining in because Ember the grand poombah said so, or in GanjaKings case, because its an excuse to kill people (Nice company you keep). We have Rebel,Sian stating they would not join in , and Kl4UZ and Gen_Axis saying they would have pked her as well, so that puts you a grand total of one ahead in your endless legion of supporters (Count MrMind and its 0...). Not to mention the fact that your ban seems to be having about as much effect as a snowball tossed on a bonfire. I've been trading happily all day, no one ever mentioned the rich tag. But then a microguild like heal would consider 1 extra supporter to be a tremendous weight on their side.... Whereas we have a more optimistic view of human nature, welcome all, and boot troublemakers. Have you met my entire guild? None of them have heard of you. Lets take me as an example, what have i done? Ever met anyone I've bagjumped? scammed? pked? You have'nt because it has never happened. Or maybe you would like to invent something? Remember my earlier hints a little detail will make your lies and slander a little more believable

yawn , heres a little advice, next time you want to try a smear campaign invent a few details, it will be much more convincing. As for your guild, If you want to manage admissions in a snobby elitist manner , thats your own business. We are a lot more friendly and welcoming.

Ember now you are just plain lying, as anyone can see by going back, the post directly after my post is YOUR POST. There are no other posts in between. You got the apology you asked for , and then carried on your war regardless. You broke your word immediately with no post in between provoking you to do so. The second you broke your deal I assumed this was the case The bully speaks. I and the vast majority (50+) members of heal have never done anything to you. The people who did annoy you where booted. One or Two (not spik/meetoo who seems largely reponsible].Where allowed back in on probation after you said YOU did not mind if they where booted or not. So despite the fact I or 50+ other members have done nothing to you, despite doing exactly what you asked for, you are asking people to kill us on sight, refuse to trade with us, steal our bags? You are a bully and will never be happy.
