That is exactly what I think of "helping out a guildie", and is exactly what I got in my guild which I respect the most (not gonna name it) without giving ANY amount of material goods back. I "paid my debt back" by helping out other guildies, behaving, respecting the rules we had and so on. So yeah, this is what I expect when you say you're helping out a guildie.

I agree with Miiks, but I have to add that the rewards (leather armor and an iron sword) I got from the tutorial NPC kept me going, too.

What I'm trying to say is why making allies and then breaking them in the future? IMO, allies are there to stay, that's all.

You're a professional at what you're doing, so anyone who considered you as a true "ally", was clearly missing the point. But yeh, why making allies in the first place?
