Hello! I've downloaded both the sound and music for Eternal Lands. The sound works fine, but I don't seem to be able to get the music working. I don't seem to be able to find anything in the .ini that would help. Thank you!

Hello! Sephrenia agian. Just to inform you that I'm back on my old IP address. The reason it keeps changing is that I am at university, and when I return home for holidays I use this IP adress. This will be a regular thing for the next couple of years that the course lasts. I hope this causes no problems! Kiardra x

Hello, I've looked at the keyboard layout post linking to the wiki site, but i still can't seem to find a hash key for in guild chat on my keyboard. At the moment I'm making do with copying and pasting after someone else has spoken! Which brings another query, occasionally pasting makes el quit unexpectedly? Thanks, Kiardra

Well, you see, this is what I didn't get, I downloaded the client that Entropy commented on from the site, and I downloaded the client from your site after you asked where I got it from. You see I was banned, but it was an misunderstanding, and I was unbanned. It's been having trouble simply connecting to the internet recently.

Thank you =) Hmm I worried it would be that =S I'm using an mobile broadband dongle. I've been using macs in college for about 4 years, but only got my own this past september. So although I'm comfortable with using a number of programs on mac, more in depth use is still a little beyond me. I haven't any other computer available here, but I hope to be buying a version of windows for bootcamp soon, although thats not immediately useful of course =P The error log, by the way, came up with a lot of [22:36:48] unknown frame property "CAL_in_combat_held" and [22:36:48] unknown weapon property "CAL_attack_up1_held" as well as [22:36:49] CalCoreModel_ELLoadCoreAnimation(): EXTENDED EXCEPTION(1:file_not_found): Can't find file ./animations/birdfly2.caf in el_file at /Users/jeff/programming/EternalLands/elc/macosx/../io/elfile.cpp (line 179) And I've seen this [22:36:50] Error: Can't open file "alias.ini" on a lot of peoples profiles. Also, I had a little bit of trouble with Entropy when he said I had a modified client. I hope I am being helpful, and not frustrating =)

Hmm ok, downloaded and tried the client on your site. Same problem, but it's come up with a very different, and much longer, error log. In fact, so long it wouldn't let me post it. Oddly enough though, after attempting to post it, I've just had one of those rare occasions that it does let me connect.

Hello same person, just registered now =) Glad I did the right thing! I downloaded the client yesterday (although I have downloaded it a couple of times in the past week, just in case) from the Eternal lands website using the French mirror (the UK one wasn't agreeing with my mac for some reason) Actually logging in is fine, if I could ever get to that stage with out very persistent attempts to connect to the server. Do you think downloading the version on your website would be better?
