  1. Legalus -bagstealer

Bagjumped me too, stole about 500 HE when I hit a tele nexus, would have stole all my ingredients too but he lagged out, I got the fruit/chrys back at least :/ Also bagjumped PYEwacket, and was camping the mines waiting for people to hit tele nexuses. Dont mine with him around and a valuable bag...
  2. Dance Animation

But we already have the "antisocial" perk
  3. Shadowcircuit

Indeed he is. Because the men in white lab coats just came to my door and asked me where he went. That'll teach him to skip his chemistry lessons!
  4. I Need A Anti-spyware

Both are the best for free ones out there. Agreed. Also, if you want to stop more spyware getting on your machine I recommend: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html Both freeware software, but highly recommended.
  5. The Sad State Of The El Economy

The problem with limiting resources is it just causes fights between players. There are always a LOT more people trying to mine, say, in the goblin caves than trying to fight goblins... Limited resources hasn't worked in any mmorpg I've played. It's just not a good move... Do you want to have to fight with 3 other people just to pick flowers?
  6. Basic Difference Between Flames And Critics.

This thread was clearly created with ulterioir motives other than simply discussing what a flame and a critique are, abliet to get back at the admins. Discussing the topics around an issue is not going off topic, and if you think this is a forum full of trolls, you've never seen a forum with real trolls on it...

My entire point, however, Tigger, is that these things need to be implemented SOONER rather than later. Pretty soon, a lot of high levels are gonna get bored and start quitting, because they feel they've achieved all there is to achieve. This'll become especially bad when the game leaves beta - people will need a goal to carry themselves on and actually pay really money to continue playing. We need to look to the longterm as well...
  8. Reason For 'no' Features?

Horses would be quite nice, the 2nd 3rd and 4th are all great ideas, 4 and 5 I wouldnt like and 6 would create vast ammounts of data. However, having said that, they're probably there for a reason. It would be nice for the admins to tell us why we can never get them but...
  9. The Sad State Of The El Economy

    1. Would just be annoying, you'd have people running all over trying to sell stuff and getting annoyed, and it would just generally aggravate the playerbase. 2.(a). No, no, no, no, NO! No limited resources! You can't even BEGIN to imagine how very, very lame it will be if you have to camp the damn flower spawns, and get up at 5am just to get the red roses for your fire essences, or whatever... Limited spawns are always a really, really bad move. 2. (. The hourly cap on harvesting is in place both as a limiter, as it is the easiest skill to train, and to prevent afk macroing of harvest.
  10. Basic Difference Between Flames And Critics.

Clearly an insult. And again, with the Plat-esque side insults: Both clearly snide side comments, designed to be at my expense. Insults are not a substitute for good arguements and backing up your points...
  11. Eating Delay

We need a walking skill. To start with players can only crawl, and everyone keeps falling over, but with time, you can get a few paces without falling over! To be included with the "Look, Ma, no hands! *oof*" perk.

Ok, sorry for the second post, but I just realised something I haven't been making clear: By ALL means introduce armour to make at level 60ish, its a nice idea, but I was saying the TOP level of armour/weapons (or at least top for a while) should be given a HARD level to make (~100), be non-monsterdrop, and introduced really soon, definately BEFORE p2p. People need long term goals, things to aim to do, especially if they're gonna pay real money to continue playing. If they can see "wow if I pay and carry on, I might be able to be one of the first few 100manuers and be able to make xxxx and make loads of money!" they're more likely to continue. Oh yes and when I say level 100, I mean minimum level for a non 100% fail rate. All actions in the game should ideally have minimum levels, and below the min levels people just get a message saying something like: You need level 32 to harvest this! or similar.

Oh I'm sorry, I didnt realise intelligence was proportional to time since you registered on the forums, my mistake. You really dont have a clue, do you? The key word here is CONTEXT. The word "newbie" wasn't referring to joined date or anything, it rarely does, but instead a general lack of understanding, of both the game and the situation. Most of Plat's supporters don't even know what she got booted for, they just support her because they think they're sucking up to a moderator. As for the rule on vulgar langauge - there is a whollleee world of difference between constant abuse, whether involving rude language or not, and not banning someone because they say "f**ck i died and lost my serp" or whatever. The rules are to be interprated by the mods, not the players. They're who decides the scope of the rules. Sure, you can argue, but you're still gonna get banned if they feel you broke the rules. And as for you're last point, so nice of you to take that little sideswipe there by implying im not intelligent. This exact sort of abuse is what got teh banned 0n3na demodded, maybe that's why you seem to like her - does her attitude of "I can do what I want and insult who I like" strike a chord with yours or something?

It's called a "job." No, it's called not having the game commit suicide by having all the high level players get bored and quit. Now i know lots of people hate it, but you have to admit, Runescape got a lot of things right, most noticably the DIFFICULTY. To get level 99, the max, in any skill, was INCREDIBLY hard. Many skills took years for anyone to reach 99, even though there were benefits of the level - for example the equivilent of manu was needed to make the single best weapon in the game at the time, and what remained the best weapon for over a year after it was first made. This game NEEDS long term goals for players, skills that take YEARS to reach "perfect" in, because if people can make a character that can do everything in just a few years, they'll leave. Look at Ultima Online - its now 7 years old, and still going. We need longievity, not just short term goals. I'm not saying there SHOULDN'T be lower armours, at like 60 and 70 maybe, but we still need stuff introduced for the high levels now, the 100+s, so that people will have LONG term goals and can actually aim for something high.
  15. New Suggestions

But level 60 manu can be reached in a under a year, if you really try. You guys are really, really missing the point of LONG term goals...
