Thanks for the advice. I checked, and I'm pretty sure I have Radeon 9600, but... this is my older brother's computer, so could upgrading the graphics driver affect anything? OpenGL files means...what exactly?

Sometimes when I start up EL, type in my username and password, then log on, the screen goes black, but I can still hear things happening in the background, so I know it is logging in. When I start up EL, it says (in a dark pink colour, three lines from the top of the screen): Couldn't find the GL_*_point_sprite extension, not using it... And below that, in the normal green text: GL_SGIS_generate_mipmap extension found, NOT using it.. Finally, in the top bar of the program, where the symbol of EL should be, there is a small white box. Could the above be affecting the game? If so, how could I fix the problem? I've tried uninstalling and installing the game again, and still nothing happens. It works fine sometimes, even if the F1-9 buttons don't have any effect. Can anyone help me out?

I would like to suggest having some way to inform new players whether a name has been taken or not, as I was just contacted by a moderator informing me that my Username is also used by a Moderator. I was unaware of this, as I usually use Rogue28 and/or Rogue628 as my character's name in games. I haven't been playing long (2 or 3 days approx.) ao it's not going to kill me if I have to start over. Anyway, just a thought to save some people's time. BTW Great game.
