  1. Almost have the Special swords books done but I need the following:

    Iron Broad Sword of Ice

    Steel Long Sword of Fire

    Ti/Steel Long Sword of Fire

    Ti/Steel Long Sword of Ice

    Ti/Steel Long Sword of Magic

    Serpent Sword of Ice

    Serpent Sword of Magic

If you have any of these books and are looking to sell pm me in forum or in game same name.

I can pay in gc or other items as well if your interested ie: silver, coal, dung, sulfur, rings/crafting related items etc. just let me know what you are wanting for the book you have.

  2. IIRC Radu mentioned at one point make a item purchasable from the the shop that if in inventory would allow bots to have non stackable items stack(but the item would take up one slot). I dunno what happened to this maybe there were issues with implementation, i would consider buying one. The reason I don't have some of these types of potion/items on my bot is because of the slot issue. Much easier to sell these from storage direct to a player as most of the time they want more then 4-5 potions at a time.

And I'm sure if you find a potion mixer they would be happy to make you some. I've always been able to get mine from potioners in my guild.

  3. if you are tired of the high prices of bindings, serp stones and other rare items this is something for you

you could be having the rare stones drop in price, all you need to do is stop feeding the greed

    Rare:

    1. coming or occurring far apart in time; unusual; uncommon

    2. thinly distributed over an area; few and widely separated

Why is it so hard for people to understand the meaning of the word RARE? If something is Rare doesn't the very nature of that item mean that the price will fluctuate with demand and supply? If Radu has said that he is limiting the amount of rare items coming into the game to encourage sales in the shop doesn't that mean the price will rise? And if someone buys a rare item from the EL shop aren't they smart to price it to a equivalent gc ratio?

Just curious, if someone is new to the game, why should they be able to get high-end armor/weapons? I'm not defending overly-high prices, just questioning an argument based on what new players can afford.

Yes why does someone who is new have to have any of the items spoken of? Do we as a community encourage that everyone who plays runs out and buys a CoL or Great Sword or Dragon Armor? Shouldn't this rather be something that a person strives for? a long term goal of some sort? a guild project to be done together? I'm a top crafter I've made many CoL's for friends in the game but didn't actually own my own CoL till about 8 months ago and I've played for almost 4 years.

    4. Respect Others

You must respect the rights of others and their rights to enjoy this game and the forums. In order to show proper respect, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, insult, name call, or cause distress and / or unwanted attention to other members, moderators, volunteers, or developers. Do not patronize people as they become acquainted with the environment and make beginners’ mistakes.

Holar is paying more and more for the rare stones in game.....so i suggest to put him out of business, stop trading with Holar and Pepa........Holar put him out of business.......ban him from your bots and stop trading with him

If Holar wants to spend his gc on buying up all the stones in EL then shouldn't we respect his right to do so instead of harassing, threatening, and insulting him? I for one don't mind if he buys them all for high prices, if he doesn't use them and the rate of stones coming into the game goes up then what happens he's stuck with loads of rare items that are no longer worth what he paid for them.

there are always other sellers and buyers in this game, some take things other then just gc, perhaps they prefer things other then gc........

  4. Although i don't think this idea will go anywhere if as DHT has said all current Total War options stay then there is no reason for afk harvesters to worry.....

Every person starts as a noncombatant in total war.......you have to opt in to being a combatant.

That being said once you declare yourself a combatant you then have to pay again to go back to being peaceful, otherwise you are a combatant in any war your guild declares and in any future guild you join iirc.

At least thats how i believe total war is set up at the moment so that it afk peoples didn't have to worry when it was implemented in the first place (or guildies who had low stats that would have been creamed in TW).

correct me if i'm wrong in this.

  5. Yeah intention in adding the feasting pots is that it would take the place of it using food bar. but the effect would only last a certain period of time. Food value put into the ring tho should be equivalent to the time the effect lasts.

I could think of many applications not just pk that people could use this for.

  6. So was thinking today and came up with this idea now that the potion is back in the game why not use it in this way too:

    Ring of Speed Hax

    10 gold rings

    6 potions of speed hax

    20 feasting potions

    Creates 10 rings

    Crafting lvl 80

    Artificial 7

    Magic 5

    EMU 1

These rings would offer same effect as speed hax but for a limited time(TBD) and with cool down which either doesn't start till you have stopped running or is longer then the total run time.

    Just a thought flame away....

  7. uhm, you didnt answer it, you skipped the fact that people with brains buy their rare stones from shop instead of gc from BM and then still not be able to buy the stones. (because they are rare, buying gc wont bring more into the game for the BM user to buy)
Yes, i did answer, its not my fault you are way too dumb to understand or way too biased to admit. Here it goes again: the BM players actively compete with the shop. Its just unfair competition, the BM guys keep lowering their prices to outbid the shop. Mainly manuers buy stuff from shop, why is this the case?

Soooo people who buy gc on the BM and then turn around and buy RARE items from people ingame who purchased them from the shop aren't supporting the game??

People who sell gc on the BM and then turn around and buy things in the shop to sell to the people who buy RARE items ingame that bought their gc from the BM aren't supporting the game?

I'm not saying that 100% of the people who sell gc turn around and use the money in the shop but I know it does happen that way. How is that bad for the game?

  8. If I remember correctly I believe Radu has been attempting to set the flow of rare items into the game at a rate that it would then also be beneficial to purchase them from the store. And as I see prices in game now I believe that goal has finally been achieved. Due to the amount of gc coming into the game along with the amount of "rare" items gc price was way below shop price for a very long time. Now that they are at about the same lvl I personally think it's a good thing-more money for radu means more game development and more fun for players in the long run hopefully.

I really don't see how equating high gc prices on rare items which should be rare in the first place is a indicator that the black market has taken over the game.

  9. I think what most people are trying to get at is that currently the medallions are set up so you have to choose what kind of bonus you want and that attempts to balance the bonuses. To have one medallion that combines all the features takes some of the "strategy" out of PvP or PK.

And even though it seems like it would be nice for training I don't know that it's really practical to have a 69kgc(at current prices if I did the math right for the mana mana one) medallion that gives only a slight bonus to medallions already available. Even the ones before that are pricey for a slight gain. As a crafter I doubt I would sell many of these if they were included in the game, pry would only make them on request.

  10. I defiantly like these books great way to take gc out of the game and give people xp at the same time. Who cares if it takes a long time to read as someone said, you can be doing other things then just reading the book like harvesting or mixing or fighting.

Another idea along these lines would be books you can buy to do a quest, it would tell you what you had to accomplish in the quest once you finished reading it and then if you do the quest you get xp. Or possibly offering some of these books in the shop that give slightly more xp(maybe take slightly longer to read to offset xp abuse)=support the game and they can be sold in game to others like rostos etc. (the ones from the shop could be Tomes :))

  11. I currently don't play on the pk server but would be interested in this. Starting at OA 0 and no storage even with good stats would take some time to build back up, but pry faster then some lvled here in the first place but that's why it would be ultimately up to those currently on the server.

I would though consider what someone posted above make it a limited time deal, you can transfer for the next 3-6 months or so and only characters currently around at time of this deal starting and then it closes for good. That way it is only current main server players not people who build a character just for this transfer. But advertise it in-game some so people have a chance to consider it.

I'll watch this to see what you all decide might be fun to join you.

  12. Tried a few: (same astro on main and test I checked)

Lions: current standard training for me on main atm seemed to take a little longer to kill hit the xp cap on every one then just stood there hitting.

2,630xp avg on test 2,390xp avg on main

So I got slightly more xp per lion but not sure if that made up for the time it took to kill one, extra 15-20 sec per.

Fluffies: good astro training monster for me atm

about the same on both, kill time and xp was too close to really notice a diff.

Armed Orcs: little below my lvl now

Seemed to kill very fast on test, at least faster then it seems on main.

    Mountain chim: Way above lvl

Test very difficult to kill, I don't normally do these on main, have only tested a few times to see if i can handle them but even though I managed the kill it, it was much harder then I've felt they ever were on main. (may not be a good test as was only one but thought i'd throw it out there since we were told to test above.)

Anyways my testing adventures in killing.

  13. This idea could be a start, but what happens when someone obtains an army of reasonably leveled alts for harvesting? I would prefer a solution which would not allow significant abuse by the same people who are currently undercutting the EL shop as it is. If a level requirement is imposted (e.g. alch 50) to enable a character to harvest with fewer mini events, the existing farming alts will just earn alch 50. It's not that tough to do while already afk-harvesting masses of ingredients - just a minor setback.

What I ment was more then just alch 50 or something to that effect.

If we take the 7 different non-combat skills and then set a final mark at which harvest events become null it would look like this:

    Player A has these lvls= Manu 32, Eng. 24, Tailoring 10, Crafting 50, Pot 75, Alch 91, and Harvest 105

We set the goal at 700 (lvl 100 for each skill included, this is an example it could be any lvl or combination of lvls, tailoring being more difficult and all) so...

    32+24+10+50+75+91+105=387

    387/700=.55

So this person would get 55% less harvest events then normal and they have some fairly decent lvls.

You could also set a mark where this formula starts say harvest lvl 50 or something. They have to get to that before this "discount" is even considered in game play.

A "reasonably" lvled alt would have to have some very good lvl's to get to 0 mini events, at that point making the alt more of a secondary stand alone player then just a harvest alt because of the amount of time it would take to get there.

And the neg. perks idea would fit into this by simply adding them to the formula in a way that they are negative. so if a person has godless they get -7 added meaning it takes slightly more lvling to compensate for taking a neg. perk but they can still eventually gain no mini event status to. Just thought I'd throw that in there since someone mentioned the possibility above and many harvesting alts max out neg. perks.

If that makes sense to anyone but me :)

  14. What if it was a ratio of harvest combined with other skill lvls? Most of the time if it's a harvest alt it's a harvest alt, they don't put much into other skills and if they do then they are having to spend time on the alt at some point to get those skills up meaning that it becomes less of an alt and more of a second account.

The skills that should be weighted would be more on the mixing side: alch, pot, crafting, tailoring etc. as Attack and defense don't have a direct link to harvesting I think it should be left out of the equation or very lightly weighted if they are. That way it also encourages those that do level mixing skills and provides a market to the A/D players as they would receive more harvest events and prefer to buy ready made items from other players.

I think in a way this would help balance the game between the mixing classes and the strictly A/D players.

    Discuss :)

  15. Hey some good tips for instances are here:

    http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48830

And good team building threads are generally posted here:

    http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showforum=137

As far as maps go check out BloodSuckers maps if I can say that here, I don't know if the newest one is up there yet but I don't think any of the instances have come out with "official" el tab maps.

I've generally had fun with instances but you should know all the caves on the map lead out of the instance, all the monsters are on the map you spawn in from what I understand.

  16. What if the buttons you added 3 or so "load" buttons here:

    load.jpg

You would have right click drop down menu to save/rename, save would save a copy of what you currently have in your inventory window (minus equipment). Plus you could possibly use this for loading up from a bag as well as sto? If you need more then 3 buttons maybe a drop down arrow to select the button wanted to make it "active" so like load1 load2 etc up to the number of saved buttons wanted. Then they can then be renamed/saved/loaded when they are in the "active" spot, otherwise they are all hidden but the one saving screen retail.

Didn't know if there are any plans for that spot but thought I'd throw that out there.

PS:you could also put an "undress" button under equipment for faster changing but would take everything off at once and put it in inventory(not sto).

  17. Since mini-events I find myself moving more and more towards a/d and less mixing. I only make HE/SR's for me and then on occasion for guildies now for the simple fact that I used to be able to sit and do 8-10k of silver in a row and do that several days in a row, now I'm doing good if I can make it to 3k I just can't stand the constant spam of the mini's.

So as an individual I am putting less final product out in the market and using more myself as I am doing A/D now instead of heavy mixing/harvesting. perhaps there are more like me.
