Oh..boy am I blind, says it right at the bottom to double click
-
Same as piper..nothing happens for me either with the drop all button.
-
Thank you Giove, fixed it now
-
I mean when a programmer comes along to make it work
-
If me or Radu are over there on the test server we'll give them to you but otherwise unless it's something necessary we're not going to go log on and hand them out to every who asks, just don't have the time.
-
haha, if we ever make more hairs I'll keep it in mind
-
Is that a real horse Gwaew or #horse command? Please don't post any bugs found with the #horse command, but test it with a real horse whistle only.
-
The horse command doesn't matter-things might be out of sync, if that happens with a real horse then let us know
-
Sorry, I don't even know what a UML is(i'm not a programmer), but I'll be here to help test when you get things implemented. Good luck and thanks!
-
Please test the fighting on horses some more especially archery, and post if you notice any out of place graphic bugs with the characters!
-
Ok how about just shorten it to: Click Done to create your character and enter the game
Just use black for the background.
-
Ok you know what..does it fit with the text on 1 line and all at 800x600? If so then I think we can just leave it, because I noticed there are other interface bugs in 640x480 so if it's messed up to begin with...probably not many people will use this mode anyway.
-
One other little detail, if you do manage to get this working and all, it should be an option to turn on/off.
-
I think it's best to keep the menu always in view, because there's always somebody who doesn't "get it"
It'd be better if we can stack the text in multiple lines if needed
-
I'm not sure I follow you on all that...
I could see shrinking the text/button sizes at lower resolutions to fit more into that right menu. Something like, at 640 res font size is 10, at 800 it's 12,
-
Can the text be made on 2+ lines instead of having it go on top of the right menu bar? That'd probably look better.
-
I don't have any _held animations for bows in my files, I'm guessing we never made them and you just altered the code? It was working before so I'm guessing that's it. If needed I can make those blended animations like we did with the emotes and add them and hope that'll work.

A define is good, just in case

Alpha around the character-no, because you need to see the objects on all sides(especially small objects)-unless I'm not getting what you're trying to say.
Plus only big objects that obscure the view of your character would need to be alpha's-trees, huge rocks, buildings. And you wouldn't want objects on the other side of your char. obscured.
There's an option in the config settings so you don't click on the objects and move towards them. I forget which..mouse bug maybe?
-
There are a few settings at the bottom of the sky&cam window to adjust the "springiness". I don't know how much else it can be improved upon. The transparent object thing might be nice though.
-
Ok, to make it fit a little nicer....
The box around Appearance has a lot of border space that can be taken in(top/bottom)-although it would be good if ONLY the text in it(Head/Skin/etc) could be upped a size, it's just a tad small-this shouldn't affect the size of the box though-looks like there's plenty of room between the >>'s
Make the Show Password text a bit smaller and move it up a bit-making it closer to the Confirm PW box than the 2 buttons at the bottom.
The error text if necesssary can go in the 3D view at the bottom.
-
That looks very nice!
I think it's best to make the background a solid color.
Add the Design Your Character title to the top, and them move up the UN/PW stuff so there can be room for the error message below the show password line. The back button can go right next to the done button-the oval around done can be made smaller.
-
Those who are getting displaced from the horse: you are using REAL horse whistles, right? And NOT the #horse command? (#horse command will displace, the real horse whistle shouldn't...)
-
Hi there, that looks pretty good!
I think it would be best though if we don't use tabs, and just have all the information on the side to make it even easier. This is the mock up I did before: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&module=images§ion=viewimage&img=1204
The bar should be opaque like you have it, and the help text can just be centered on the 3d view screen at the bottom-or even possibly in the bottom bar. And like bluap said, keeping the bottom bar is probably best.
Thank you for volunteering to work on this

On the test server Piper?
