After installing the client for a friend, all of the models appeared to be lying on their side? NPCs, animals, players... all of them. His character is able to walk, enter buildings, attack animals, all of which while appearing horizontal. No funny errors listed while loading the client. Was able to mess with perspective without issues. None of the video settings seemed to cure the issue. His system has an onboard radeon x1200, which should be able to run EL from what I can tell? Any ideas? Thanks, X

We've been down this road before. Luckily, the game improved. Not sure that I'd want to roll those dice again.

I've been playing this game for a long time now, and I truely believe that Eternal Lands has been at it highest point during recent times. Removing rule 5 would bring vast changes to the lands. My vote is no.

Life sucks, get a helmet. Surely the server crash was on purpose. Maybe ask for a refund?

Since the new client has arrived I have been having some difficulties with the game crashing. The frequency varies but it is ever-present. Some times every 10 minutes, sometimes every hour or so. After checking my error log I noticed it is almost entirely filled with: No Anim: ./animations/player_slash1.caf There is the odd other error, but we are talking miniscule amounts in comparison, I'm talking hundreds to one. I am running a Pentium 4, 2.8GHz with 1 gig of ram. XP Pro and a GeForce FX 5200. Any thoughts?
