    Hey Saint I would like to order a siggy for a friend of mine..

     

    Ingame name: nubynoob

     

    The siggy should have NUBYNOOB in bold black letters and have a centered lunging white tiger with claws exposed if possible.

     

    Should also say: Proud member of eGow

     

    Please update my siggy to to say the same phraze.

    Ok the new #sto command is great I think. Before if you typed in with a spelling error it would tell you that you had "none" in inventory. The fact that you stop harvesting when you type in #sto is not a big deal. If you have a harvest event you stop also. It makes it much easier than to find what your looking for in your storage and I like it very much. GREAT IMPROVMENT! :(

    Ok, here goes....

     

    We can neither say fact or fiction to the point that the human race is causing global warming. We can on the other hand say that 1. We do use oil to energize the world and 2. We have the means to change that in a fair amount of time. Global warming is an issue that affects all people and creatures alike. I did a google search and found some interesting facts I will copy and paste here.

     

    Arctic ice is rapidly disappearing, and the region may have its first completely ice-free summer by 2040 or earlier. Polar bears and indigenous cultures are already suffering from the sea-ice loss.

     

    Glaciers and mountain snows are rapidly melting—for example, Montana's Glacier National Park now has only 27 glaciers, versus 150 in 1910. In the Northern Hemisphere, thaws also come a week earlier in spring and freezes begin a week later.

     

    Coral reefs, which are highly sensitive to small changes in water temperature, suffered the worst bleaching—or die-off in response to stress—ever recorded in 1998, with some areas seeing bleach rates of 70 percent. Experts expect these sorts of events to increase in frequency and intensity in the next 50 years as sea temperatures rise.

     

    The report, based on the work of some 2,500 scientists in more than 130 countries, concluded that humans have caused all or most of the current planetary warming. Human-caused global warming is often called anthropogenic climate change.

     

    Industrialization, deforestation, and pollution have greatly increased atmospheric concentrations of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, all greenhouse gases that help trap heat near Earth's surface.

     

    Humans are pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere much faster than plants and oceans can absorb it.

     

     

    So the way I look at it is if 2500 scientists say that humans have caused planetary warming then I beleive them. Science has proved many things that most people agree to some extent with. The fact that we as humans are putting all these greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere is enough for me to think that maybe there is validity into what is happening with the world.

     

    Some people can be skeptical as to if this is true, but instead of trying to guess about it, why not help decrease the causes of greenhouse gasses and do small things that matter like recycling, carpooling, using less fossil fuels etc etc....

    Tiny_tim is and will always be a noob in EL. I always have a lot of laughs about him with everyone. When he was in FURY guild he was a noob scammer at best lol. :)

    So I logged on and this is what I see. This is in PL storage that I took these screens. Please look and let me know what may be causing this.

     

    SYSTEM SPECS:

    Intel

    Pentium 4 CPU 2.53GHz

    2.52GHz, 1024 MB of RAM

    Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2

     

    NVidia GeForce 5700LE 256 MB RAM

    ***BEGIN EDIT*** So I changed the settings from 1024x768x32 to 1024x768x16 and then right back to 1024x768x32 again and the problem "went away". But when I open Eternal Lands from my desktop I get this weird "box" around my mouse pointer in-game and I have to do that "switch" (x32-x16-x32 again) to get it to go away. I grabbed the latest updated drivers for my graphics card but I would still like to try to figure out what it is that is happening and possibly how to fix it without all the "switching". ***END EDIT***

    Obviously this affects numerous players and yout first concern is too may posts?

    As far as supplying specs and turning this and that on or off --wasnt that the whole point of your testing.

    You strike me as not being overlyconcerned about this issue. I guess we will just have to wait for the patches then.. Thanks for noghting.

     

     

    It amazes me that you can have an attitude like this toward the people that work hard to bring us this great game. The fact that you can play for FREE is enough to say that these people do care and have concerns that everyone possible enjoys the game. As with any game that is in BETA you incure issues that need to be resolved. The ONLY WAY TO TEST THIS is to get the opinion of many people who play. Your comments to the creators of this game is despicible and you should feel lucky that all you got was a 1 year ban on the forums. Entropy, this game rocks. It is by far the most fun role playing game I have ever played. -PaulB-

    He repaired my S2E, back when I used that anyway.

     

    Well... if you dislike him so much, perhaps you should repair your own degraded items? Oh, yeah wait....

     

     

    That would be great if we could attempt to fix our own stuff. Or at least if Tankel breaks the item give you a damn refund lol. 60Kgc = CoL = :D Damaged CoL = 3kgc for Tankel to try = 63Kgc loss :fire:

    So I have done every quest in the game and the one with Tankel is stupid! So you pay him a fee and he will "TRY" to fix certain broken items. So far 2 pairs of damages cuisses and 1 damaged CoL and HE BROKE THEM ALL!!!!! I mean you have to pay that idiot and he breaks and keeps your coin. Not very friendly character if you ask me.. Well good thing I have tons of coin to get another CoL or I would really be MAD at him more than I am now. :cry:
