Fame and Fortune Mini Quest. Hello Everyone, There will be a wonderful Mini-Quest being held this weekend, lots of prizes for all who participate and lots of fun to be had. The Quest will start in one of the WSC taverns through talking to some of the bartenders there, you will be told of people all over the land who are (Legends) in there own right. Masters of their crafts and skills they will provide you with duties to perform that will teach you how to increase your Fame. The more famous you become, the greater the Fortune in store for you at the end of the Quest. Everyone is invited, Begginers up to the players who are already Legends in there own right. The Competition will be run fairly for all and your quests will depend upon your levels in some cases to make it more fair. Do you have a love for adventure? Want to become one of the legends of EL? Then do come and join us and see how rich and Famous you can become. NeoSeS

If you fail to complete or get disqualified then you lose fame points. So if you complete 4 quests and then get disqualified (Very difficult to do) from the fifth one, then a person who succesfully completed 5 quests will have more fame, and greater fortune than you at the award ceremony. You don't have to stay for the award ceremony, we will hold all the prizes for the players who acheive diffrent levels of fame in the game in our storage and distribute the awards as we are able to contact players in the game. The Date and Time are set. Sunday the 12th at 2:00 Pm eastern. The quest will be run for three hours and there will be an award ceremony afterwards. The idea of the quest is to during your day of adventuring complete as many of the mini quests that lead on the path to fame and fortune as possible. The more quests you complete the more famous you become and the better the prizes. Failure to complete a quest means that you lose the fame points for that quest, they total in to your final score. -Not following the rules -Cheating in some way or being Dishonest -Not completeing a quest, or any part of a set of instructions for the quest -Being disrespectful (Deemed by the Legends playing the parts in the quest) Any of these things will disqualify you from the quest you are attempting. I encourage everyone to try and have fun with this contest, I assure you that the many beifactors of these contests have provided wonderous and amazing prizes, it is well worth the time and effort to participate and follow the simple rules that we have set forth. Fame and Fortune can be yours... But what are fame and fortune without honor and disipline. For Anastasia In Regards to my last post where she called me a hypocrite. I asked that it be locked as it had served it's purpose... I think not. This post was meant to find out what happened to the original post, That has been discovered. I asked that this post be Locked, not moved or deleted... which is what I have argued against all along. I fully belive that when a post begins to be spammed that it should be locked, but still accessible... People are now spamming this post, had the original post been left up for all to view perhaps you would all create a post in the flames section where you could argue more about it, but instead you choose to flame a post seeking informatin... I am not a hypocrite... I beleive in the preservation of all knowledge and written word, however if you want to start arguing over a dictionary, you write a new book, not scribble inside the Dictionary or encyclopedia, where ever it is that you have gone to look for the information. Well I was away for a bit and then I come back on to find out that It just kinda poof and disapeared. Was wondering what the final Verdict was and why it was made to disapear in the first place? Roja I don't expect anyone to be perfect, but I do expect people in power to answer for there actions. You have been wonderful to me and I appreciate the sentimenet, unfortunately if things are going to continue to degrade the way the have then I belive it's best for me to leave before I get banned. You all put a lot of hard work and effort into this forum and I appreciate all that you have done and worked so hard to acheive here, but my time on the forum has come to an end. It was not simply a matter of locking and or deleting a thread, it's the whole general principal for me really. People who are in power should have to answer for there actions, otherwise you can't expect the people they have power over to respect them or follow them. Everything was fine until Cicero posted that new rule, which I personaly think is obsurd and I'm certain that it's directed towards me at some level, because who else has ever caused this much of a stink over Deleted posts and moved threads... For anyone who wonders the reason for my animosity against the loss of the written word or Reverance for the written word in General. Think of this. The Aztec's started out as many cultures did, passing on histories and stories by mouth and song. Today there are only 2 that's right 2 books left from those libraries because Cortez and the Catholic church sought to destroy every trace of these wonderous people. Think also of the numerous book burnings done in the name of Greatness, Hitler was infamous for this as well as many other Rulers who came to the conclusion that "Ignorance of others, gives greater power to people who have Knowledge", To destroy any written word or Tomb of Knowledge is in my eyes a tragic and disgraceful loss no matter what the content was that is being destroyed. I was refering to Censorship, not an exact event althoug there have been incedents of people taking a book out of a Library that I liked and Never returning it... Regardless the information is missing, I'm just wodering why. It's Entirely possible, but I highly doubt it... this is the EL forum though so anything is possible "I went to Look up Censorship in the encycolpedia, only to find that the page on that subject had been torn out along with several others..."
