Don't know enough about either guild to choose, but I'd love to see a Best guild list that included all the Guilds I know that's a big list but stilll..... Okay so your parents are paying 5.00 a month for runescape and your complaining about a game you get to play completly for free... in 4 months you could have your new race or some sweet weapons or any other number of things... what a waste of money. NeoSeS

Almost the entire game is free. Except for some rare weapons and some races (just recently implemented by the way) You can fully develope and play an enjoyable game completly for free. The developers all have real jobs and work full time on top of providing this game to us for free and offering limited technical support. They should be able to get something of benifit and personal gain for all they do for us. If you had joined a year ago, there would not have been any new races or special weapons. If you had joined 3 months ago there would not have been Transengard or the magic school or the new races or any other number of newly implemented things. These developements take time, Time = Money and the few pay to play items implemented in the game are fairly new and at least give the developers some reason to continue with the new game. Don't think of what you don't have because you don't have money. Think of what you do have because of these hard working and dedicated people who have done something nice for you and everyone else that plays Eternal Lands. NeoSeS

Aright, I was just thinking that this would be an interesting thing to be implemented some day. How bout individualized Battle Cries. What I mean is this. A death message that only appears when you (Specific Player) kills someone. Examples NeoSeS *You were shown a New path by the Warlord NeoSeS* Shivar *You were given the cold chilly kiss of death by the gifted assasin that makes people shiver* Lord Vermor *The Lord of the Castle cleaned out his dungeon starting with you* Platyna *You were seriously abused, then died of bordem listening to everyone talk about how you and everyone else were abused by Teh Platyna* Entropy *Teh GOD sent you to the underworld, thanks for playing, don't forget to make a donation so you can get out of hell... I still have to finish that part* Roja *In her just and wise ways the Lady Roja decided to create a new artistic peice of work featuring your death* Worf *You died a good death, it is the Klingon way* Gunslinger *Now I gotchya, ya fir bearin' critter* The posibilies are endless, and it would be so entertaining to see what kind of death messages people came up with. Actualy I think that having to pay for the Battle Cry would be a good thing maybe 1.00 or 2.00 USD. My only concern would be with the programing portion of it. I don't know how hard it would be to do it, I mean to make the battle crys personal so that they only happened when the person who paid for them got to use them. Of course they would have to be approved first we all know how some people can be... and if they were part of individualized packages they would be checked before they were entered in (by the programers) so that would work out perfectly. Some day , but I'm sure you can all see how much fun they would be. NeoSeS

One more thought, what about monsters that attack each other... like a goblin that kills bunnies and foxes. Think of the possobilites, you kill a goblin and get all the items that it picked up from killing the creatures smaller than itself . Even Ugly stupid Goblins have to eat. And what about diffrent catogory of monster killing skills. Instead of straight Attack/Defense make it so that you train in killing the undead skeletons, hunting skills animals... diffrent catagories for diffrent types of monsters. NeoSeS

There are websites also that will give you your IP address just by visiting them. Also... if your friend uses Kazza and you put their IP address in your address bar on your internet explorer you will have access to all the files they have available on their computer via Kazza... otherwise I don't know of any direct way to connect the two computers with out using some form of FTP program. I personaly feel it would be a wonderful addition, add a little more realism to the game. I mean you'd actualy have to go off into the wild to hunt ebul creatures instead of knowing right where they were suppose to be. NeoSeS

I don't have a chat log. I didn't even know what a chat log was when I first started so that would explain it . I remember exploring and getting to the first map off Isla Prima. I hung out outside WSC for a while and harvested lilacs to get money. Then I bought some cheap armor and a staff I think. This is the fun part. I figured well... There can't be anything too dangerous on the first map right, so I decided to explore Vermore Castle. After navigating through the maze I finaly managed to enter the castle... I saw some big monster inside and figured... If I don't attack it, I should be safe right LOL NeoSeS is six feet under. I explored the underworld till I got tired of being lost, asked someone where to go to get out and they said keep going north. I kept going north and finaly got out. Let's just say that ever sice that day I have loved pounding Gargoyles. I played almost non stoped for a month, met some friends and started a guild GarD. It was a guild designed to help one another out and protect the innocents of the game (Newbs) never did quite turn out the way I wanted it too but oh well. There you have it, my first day, and my first month or so of EL. I wish I had the time or interest to play as much as I did once upon a time, but alas real life has become more demanding and so... Going into a PK map = Stupid Losing stuff in a PK map = Expected Me giving you your stuff back as soon as I can = What All together Stupid+Expected+What= What did you expect Stupid. Your getting your stuff back, heck I've given more than you've lost to newbs just starting the game, no kick in the can to me so please just stop whining so all the other babies on the forum will shut up as well. Even if EL is not coded in C++, C++ is a steping stone to learning other languages isn't it? Once I learn and am fluent in C++ then I can move on to other projects and languages I don't know what I'm going to do with my newly aquired knowledge, but it's fun just to learn new things so, we'll just see what teh future holds. NeoSeS

Darned if I know Leeloo, I just wrote the program the way it was in the book, I don't even know what cstdio or iostream or any of these includes are yet. Give me time, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventualy... You'll have to ask chatterbug, that was their program line not mine, I just copied and pasted it, I think when I wrote a similar program it was just the "#include iostream" line, I don't know what the "iostream.h" is at all.
