Been there. Done that - no difference.. i still get the following message: [bjarne@localhost Eternal Lands]$ ./el.x86.linux.bin ./el.x86.linux.bin: /usr/lib/libGL.so.1: no version information available (required by ./el.x86.linux.bin) ./el.x86.linux.bin: relocation error: ./el.x86.linux.bin: undefined symbol: xmlReadFile -- I just discovered that my xml-files where malfunctional; now my game runs fine again :-) [bjarne@localhost Eternal Lands]$ Any help would be gladly appreciated: haven't been able to play EL for quite some time now :-(

When i try to start the game i get the following error: [bjarne@0x5358b8c2 EL]$ ./el.x86.linux.bin ./el.x86.linux.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [bjarne@0x5358b8c2 EL]$ I have already chmodded the file, and my graphic card is working 100% I'm running Mandrake 9.2 Please help - I'm getting low on EL-medicine :-(

Hi. Suddenly EL has begun to crash when i quit the game. Having the root console open behind me - i se the following error: [hash.c:395] failed read The game plays, launches and refreshes allright - but when i quit it freezes Any ideas ?

I get the same problem again - no matter what i do. When i then try to install a libxml package as requested above - i get the following error: Installation fail: file /usr/bin/xmlcatalog from install of libxml2-2.6.9-1 conflicts with file from package libxml2-utils-2.5.11-1.2.92mdk file /usr/bin/xmllint from install of libxml2-2.6.9-1 conflicts with file from package libxml2-utils-2.5.11-1.2.92mdk I do not know how to "compile" that CVS-thingy you requests :-/

I already have :-/ When trying to install the latest version i can find - the system reports that i already have a newer version installed..

After upgrading to the new version as requested by you guys - i cannot start the game. I have tried deleting everything and then downloading the full game instead - but with no luck.
