    No matter what for you logged on another char - as soon as you log on a char, it IS considered your alt - no matter how hard you try to excuse it yourself. It's that plain and simple - you log on another char = it IS your alt. Oh and of course, the reason is you broke your restrictions, which no alts rule definitely is, am i right ?

    Well WR, do you realize that you DID break your restrictions just by loging on the atilathehun character ? Once you log in on another character, it IS considered to be your alt. It really does not mean anything that you PMed Aislin before doing that or that you "got rid of" WR char. It was NOT approved by any mod, therefore you broke the no alts restriction in the first place. And yes, in cases where people are under restrictions because of their previous actions/problems, you NEED an EXPLICIT APPROVAL for things like this. It just is common sense.

    So actually you say that people who don't like PK or are not interested in PK should stay out of invances ? (if invances were made PK) I really would hate that (just my opinion). Another thing is, where would be the crossing line between breaking the "you must be helping" rule and solving your private "issues" with player XYZ ? I really can't see how this could work.

    First of all, good luck with your shop However i'd suggest you to power level at least to lvl 50 in both skills, because otherwise you'll crit, fail a LOT. That said, paying 5% fee + number of crit. fails does not make it very appealing (at recommended level you have 50% chance to fail, and each fail has 1/3 chance to be a crit.fail). PS: enhanced wooden shields cannot be manufactured Edit: fixed typo

    Nice idea, but i would remove all the fighting stats - making it the same like a bone for example. Instead of that, make it more durable - as for price, i'd say sum price for pickaxe + leather gloves + saw and multiply it with 10 (or how much durable it would be). Something like: Harvesters toolkit - Toolkit for dedicated harvesters. Contains pickaxe, leather gloves and saw, is about 10 times more durable then common harvesting tools. Deals 1-2 damage, accuracy -5, defense -5, critical hit -5, critical damage -5 Weight: 5 EMU Price (as suggested above): (15 + 40 + 100) * 10 = 155 * 10 = 1550 gc There might be a prerequisite to have the "dedicated harvester" perk to wear it.
  11. Hmm not sure it's the right comparision, if people are willing to spend time to harvest AND haul loads of gypsum and other harvestables without getting payed for it. Also, what i was reffering to - the discounted price should of course be set only on oranges used for global quest.

Well, nobody says they have to contribute However as you said, there are people who like the action and killing and there are people who like to harvest/mix/socialize etc and there are people who are somewhere in the middle. That said, i barely can ask a player who likes the "action" to sit and harvest for hours, but i guess you must understand that it's the same for the other group too. What makes me sad is, that fighters (don't get me wrong, i don't mean all of them of course - but it's a great portion of em) try to sell oranges or other "fighter only" items at quite high price. We all know that price of "exclusive" items can and usually is manipulated by those who have enough gc to do it (like the oranges price lately). It would be for example nice, if instancers could sell oranges at a discounted price - so everybody wins, fighters get payed and global quest will get completed. I know that fighters usually don't care about anything that does not affect a/d exp per minute and/or drops and most of the GQ rewards are not aimed at fighters (or we had a very bad luck and haven't seen some more fighters oriented rewards.

    Updated last source, compiled and still have an issue with click-and-walk system :/ Looks like the green X get out of sync with the mouse cursor.     I harvest a lot and haven't noticed a big difference ... just my harvester meds break like crazy, but that's my bad luck i guess

    I guess something like #cl - channel list would be enough ... That way you could see who is on your current active channel. But maybe some paging / filtering would have to be applied when the total number of people on that channel exceeds 20 people for example.

    Well no idea how other poeople do it, but if i find out, that somebody buys things from my bot for a banned person, I ban also the one who bought the things ...

    Multi combat is off topic here, but attacks of opportunity would be a nice idea to implement. Casting a spell, trying to flee, changing target, changing equipment, using mines/caltrops all of these events could provoke an attack of opportunity with a defense/block penalty. On topic: one on one payed arena could be a good idea ... Or even a command #duel player_name which could work like: Player A wants to duel somebody - he/she types: #dual PlayerB PlayerB gets a message saying: PlayerA wants to duel with you, type: #accept_duel PlayerA to accept the duel or #refuse_duel to refuse itl If PlayerB wants to duel the person, he/she writes #accept_duel PlayerA and both players are teleported instantly to duel arena (just a very small map PK map). When players are teleported to the arena, all potion/spell effects they currently have active are cancelled. Duel starts in 15 seconds from the teleport and both players are teleported to IP when one of them dies or when no damage is dealt for longer then 3 minutes. If PlayerB does not want to duel PlayerA, he/she writes #refuse_duel PlayerA and the duel is cancelled. When PlayerA makes a challenge to duel a player, he/she cannot duel another player until the challange is accepted, refused or cancelled - duel is cancelled when PlayerB does not accept or refuse the challenge in 5 minutes. I guess some cooldown would have to be implemented to prevent "duel spamming" players. Also a command like #set_duels on|off would have to be implemented, so you can turn challenges on|off. If a player tries to challenge you when you gave challenges turned off, he gets a message like: PlayerB does not accept challenges. and PlayerB would not even be notified that somebody tried to challange him/her.

    @Calif: The invance rules were made by Radu, and all of us have to obey them. No matter how hard you try to justify that he was there without armor/weapon and solo-ing 8 FCWs is ok, it just is NOT helping the team. It's not helping by definition of the rules which were made by Radu. Is it really so hard to comprehend ?

    Invance rules clearly say, you MUST be helping - so if he is not helping, he IS breaking the rules. If you had read the rules, you'd know that moderation is NOT a public topic. If you have a problem with a mod, you need to contact a mod or Radu in pm/forum pm.
