And I think you're being an irritating loud-mouth who needs a firm boot up his ass, but that's neither here nor there, is it? Anyway, I've not been logged in for a few days, but it would seem to me that, Raytray you should lead by example . Heh, I remember hosting a ridiculous event, in which I literally lost a guildie (he went AFK ) and decided I'd give out some prize money (5-10k, I can't remember) to whoever could find him. Turned out he was in TG storage all along, and I had been checking the C2 storages. Boy was my face red.
  2. Guess the player name!

    dais(y)ke12?
  3. My Thoughts on the Recent Price hikes

@GD2D: Really now, I'm not opposed to your ideas, but that veil over the belligerence and hostility in your posts (both here and on your blog) is growing very thin indeed. Like, the frequent use of fully capitalised letters, and the sarcasm tags, and all the finger pointing, "...You (yes, you!)". Please tone them down, it is just a game .
  4. Guess the player name!

    DMan?
  5. Daggers

Titanium short: Could use a major rework. It looks really bulky, certainly not useful as a weapon. I've always imagined a short sword as something like this, or this (Highlander ). The titanium short doesn't look like these at all in my opinion. Daggers: Would be a cool addition. Chance for lethal backstab ^^
  6. Rostogol idea...

Doesn't anyone ever use the arenas? There's still the risk of getting PK'd by someone a lot higher than you/with many summons. In any case, I'd like to see an idea like this... Rostogol prices are absolutely crazy these days. Gosh, even I remember the days when 16k was a cheap deal, 17k was common, and 18k was a little on the pricey side. Now it's more like, 19k is minimum. edit: That's inflation. Can we get an increase in the gc/hour from stuff to compensate, Entropy?
  7. Guess the player name!

The hint makes it more confusing
  8. New Invasion Creature: 'BroDer'

    Couldn't agree more.
  9. Guess the player name!

first post here Gohan . (since it's obvious I guess I'll just go:) + Really easy
  10. Do you like the gummy bears?

Same . That song isn't helping my headache.
  11. Potions of Defence and Attack Reduce

From my perspective, the only people who will see the benefits of this potion will be those who have huge amounts of gold, and so training will be made easier for them. For people like me (less money, not able to afford using this, i.e. I'd guess >90% of EL population) will never be able to use them.
  12. New Char Portrait

It's certainly 100x better than I could do, but I think it looks a little like he's wearing mascara. The scales are also vaguely reminiscent of dry/dead skin, but I suppose that's just down to the fact they're white. A little more distinction in the body would be nice too, initially I could not tell where his shoulders were supposed to be.
  13. Isnt this a bit overpowered?

Not that I support those 'evil rich people', but it's not like if someone can throw around lots of cash IRL they will be unbeatable. Sure, it takes the guy who farms <insert mob here> significantly longer to buy the stuff Evil Rich Guy has, but it's not like he can't buy it because he doesn't put money into the game.
  14. New Wards + Stone

See Robotbob's suggestion for an offensive debuff spell
  15. PK Event

PK server Shuj. Most of that map is PK-zone, and it's close to storage, so a good place for restocking.
  16. Isnt this a bit overpowered?

Since when did 'common decency' have anything to do with PK? I'd like to think were I, or any other fr00b, enter a PK map the high level people would leave me alone, but I'm not so woefully ignorant to really believe that. People will attack newbies that have just stepped of IP with no remorse. If you don't want to be ganged, abstain from entering PK maps wherever possible. Shitlist the people who do attack you, and if they walk around dribbling on about "honourable PKing" well... you have extra motivation to screw with them.
  17. Coordination in Invasions

Eh, still open to the problem of misdirection, maybe a more useful tool would be like this: -Bot is established which receives community input via PM, only during invasions. -After 10-20(?) PMs arranged in the same fashion (i.e. with a very specific pattern) bot announces the locations of the monsters on invasion channel. -Once monsters are cleared, bot is re-PM'd and ceases to announce the cleared maps as dangerous. Oh, and it'll need to have a PM feature, so players can ask for a list of invaded maps.
  18. Isnt this a bit overpowered?

Well fine, adjust the parameters so such a thing would only remove (or have a chance or removing) the boosting effects of certain armours, or even pots. Of course it should have an uber high EMU or mana usage so the rare armours don't become as 'weak' as the ordinary ones.
  19. Change the FP recipe.

Because I'm not the one beating the old horse .
  20. Change the FP recipe.

Precisely my point, if people actually knew what has been discussed and denied in aforementioned threads, it would be considerably easier to drop the subject. Simply stating that a topic has been discussed at length and denied before seems insufficient to me; I usually wonder, 'but did they think of this (idea x)...?' and, 'why was this idea denied?'. Perhaps that's just a fault on my part of being inquisitive, though.
  21. Change the FP recipe.

Informing people of why it has been denied would be more useful than outright objecting to a suggestion. I can see how this would get tedious after awhile, though.
  22. Removing TS effect

The first thing that comes to mind are the people at the top end of the A/D scale. Those who have already been emasculated by the attributes cap, and need the TS effect to train mobs that won't break everything they own. I don't think people should be blamed for preferring to train Chimeras over getting beat up by Yeti. I suppose if a monster was introduced before Yeti --> (monster x here) this problem would be eliminated, though. Some other concerns come to mind, though: -How would this affect the demand for TS Potions? Is it reasonable to assume the majority of this type are used specifically for training? If so, then surely it will be added to that nefarious list of 'Items never used' (along with weapons, certain armours, etc.). -What happens to people recovering from reset? Perhaps I'm just being lazy, but I use TS potions whenever I train to maximise my A/D experience for my extremely weak build. If this was removed, I guess it'd be forced to either use my resources to the point of poverty (see: frustrating), or relentlessly batter critters that die within a few hits (see: repetitive).
  23. Change the FP recipe.

Yeah, I think it'd be cooler (or, more in fit with an role playing universe) if it was more economically viable to manufacture them yourself. I'm only ~34 (can't remember) in Potion but I mix a few of them when I have some spare ingredients. Mostly, though, I find that meat in particular is more useful in other potions and applications-- e.g. Potion of Physique, summoning, etc.
  24. magic effect of summon stones

A: Whether it happens too often isn't really an issue to be discussed-- there are ways to defend against the magic attacks; use them or expect to get hurt. B: Hmm, I always thought there was a cooldown on summoning stones. Certainly, something like 5-10 seconds seems reasonable, if it's not that already. Difference between a fact and an opinion here, the above statement is an example of the latter.
